Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K Beeper Sample Tests Mutant Caterpillar Games 2016-09-12 | The Spectrum uses a completely non-standard 40ohm impedence speaker - so we are running some tests on some samples we had made. We're aiming to have them produced in quantity soon and up for sale in our shop www.mutant-caterpillar.co.uk/shop .These are a perfect drop-in replacement for Spectrums that have gone a bit quiet in their old age. These are only for Issue 3 and above but if these are a success we'll be looking at commissioning 200ohm speakers as well for Issue 1 and 2 machines.
