EmmanDaBombInspired by the recent visual (and audio) rework of Twitch, I felt that I couldn't hold back the moment I heard his new quote, "I DEMAND A SANDWICH!"
To me, Twitch is a mad criminal bent on the destruction of anything not a rat, and the consumption of smelly and rotten goods. This kind of personality allows for a fun and notorious kind of theme with a bit of class added in for irony.

I decided to have a concert dedicated to the video game music that has inspired me to continue my musical studies. "Invincible", by Blizzard's team has had an emotional connection to me since I've heard it. Looking into its back story and the tale of its primary character, Arthas, was something that really dwelled in me. It was an honor to be able to conduct this!
I was asked to do some music for The Grid Cyber Lounge, a LAN center in Chino Hills (www.facebook.com/TheGridCyberLounge?fref=ts). They needed something to kind of represent their store for a big promotional tournament on January 5th. This gaming center is quite a nice place to meet with friends and game on. I highly recommend checking them out if you're local!
Also, shoutout to Dr. Beat (the metronome) for inspiring a great section of this piece.

We had a total of 4 concerts, and a 5th performance off campus. The first two were video-game related, and I'll be posting those videos sometime in the near future! The last two were holiday related, and this is my arrangement of "Carol of the Bells"... with a twist. I used Gustav Holst's ostinato from Mars: The Bringer of War. It was just too fun to pass up :)
Team Dignitas is a professional gaming team founded in the UK, with teams across all genres of video games. Check out their website at: http://www.team-dignitas.net
I wanted to have a little fun with the theme, and after spending years in bands playing marches (hating it more so as a French Horn player), and years teaching people how to march in parades, I thought it would be appropriate to give my favorite game a tribute in a way I know well.
For a MORE in-depth look at how I get into writing music, stay tuned to this channel! Throughout the summer, I'll be releasing behind-the-scenes footage of my composition sessions. Each will likely end with a teaser to the piece being worked on!
For those unaware - I will be a senior graduating with the class of 2014 (should all things go well). My senior project for the fall is to direct and conduct the choir at my university. I will spend the entire summer writing original music, and making arrangements of many existing songs/pieces. In this project, I hope to further my skills in composition, arrangement, conducting, teaching, and directing music. This will be so much fun, and I'm glad that so many of my colleagues are on board with me. I couldn't be anymore honored and excited to be given this kind of opportunity.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE TEASERS!
Note: All pieces of music you hear in the video are written or arranged by myself using Cubase 6.5 and various sound libraries.A Mothers Gift - Mothers Day 2013EmmanDaBomb2013-05-12 | A happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, especially to my own mom who has been kind and crazy enough to support me in my dream to make music. While this may be common knowledge to most well-versed musicians, I feel like I blew my own mind. I'll definitely continue to explore this for funsies.

Our Jungle Eve left during the game (probably raging about her poor performance), and we were left 4v5 for the rest of the game. In all reality, I was bored on a Saturday and threw this together for fun.
Don't we all need a little trailer music in our lives? :DThe Summoners Return - A Tribute to Season 3EmmanDaBomb2012-11-24 | This is my musical tribute to the kickoff of League of Legends' Season 3. It's also my first project under Cubase, which I am very excited to begin using. As you can tell, I still have a lot to learn, and I look forward to making some good music in it.
Hope you all enjoy, and here's to Season 3!

The time for Season 2 Championships is nearing, with regional competitions kicking into gear. This is a tribute to their hard work, their dedication to the game, and to their goals of taking part of a $5,000,000 prize pool home with them.
http://www.twitter.com/emmandabombGuild Wars 2 Gamescom Trailer - Orchestral ArrangeEmmanDaBomb2012-08-05 | All rights belong to ArenaNet. Melody originally composed by Jeremy Soule.
This is an orchestral arrangement of Jeremy Soule's Guild Wars 2 "Gamescom Trailer" composition. Jeremy Soule has been a musical inspiration to me for the last 7 years. I played Guild Wars back when it came out, 7 years ago. At the time I was in 7th grade, and was just starting band.
Partly due to Jeremy Soule's music, I am now a junior in college, pursuing a music degree with a concentration in music composition. I don't mean to insult him in creating an arrangement that is no where near as good as his original, but consider this my tribute to a man that has really kept me going in the field of music. I hope to one day entertain and inspire people as he has done to me.
I was honestly scared to upload it, because it's something I really didn't want to screw up.
I hope you enjoy!

Song starts at 0:35
I haven't balanced anything, and it's a very simple, repetitive little bit of music. Just seeing what I can accomplish in a short period of time without using a melody or anything dynamic.
I wanted to extend that 15 second clip I did and start expanding on the experience I've gained since then. Still so much to learn! Hope you enjoyed it. Be sure to subscribe for more weekly releases!

"The human city-state of Noxus is in many ways the moral antithesis of Demacia; it is a settlement where the physically and mentally strong acquire power through any means, regardless of the consequences to their fellow citizens."
*** After taking some thought and getting some feedback, I'll be categorizing this as a WIP. I definitely want to improve it as best as I can! ***
"Along the western coast of Valoran, the human city-state of Demacia shines as the continent's paragon of virtue amongst all the other human settlements. The residents, always striving to sharpen their bodies and minds in the pursuit of absolute justice." - League Wiki

I wanted to write a song as a tribute to him, his champion, and to his friend, whom he is joining a 122 mile bike ride for - Lindsay Hill. Lindsay is a 22 year old woman that has been diagnosed with cancer. This bike ride is a way to raise donations which would be put toward cancer research.
