How I improved my tracking accuracy by ~10 percent (not clickbait and not what you think) Rocket Jump Ninja 2023-12-03 | Tracking accuracy hasn't been my strong point in games, mainly because I've played Quake for most of that time and I'm terrible with recoil when I do play a different game. Plus I get distracted by flashing lights so in a game like Apex, I literally cannot see where I'm meant to be aiming, but if they removed those things, I'm sure I could track well there too! Finalmouse UltralightX Review | With recommendations for all 3 sizes and grip tips Rocket Jump Ninja 2023-11-16 | Update: To be clear, the limbo jumps don't happen too much with the gold version, but do on the blue, so after speaking with others and getting more feedback, seems it's a quality control issue on the blue, but the scroll is at normal levels for limbo jumps on the gold. Every wheel will have them from time to time, just how it is. I was worried because I had heaps on the blue copy, but it makes sense it's just a defective unit.Finalmouse are back with even lighter mice, so they top the amazing magnesium Starlights and they return to the top positions on the Top Mice list. The Starlights were removed due to being discontinued, otherwise, they would've retained the top position over the Viper V2 and G Pro X.So these mice are even lighter but also offer some new and great features, definitely worth a look! And I'm told they will be in continual production, so at some point, once demand is fulfilled, we'll see them always available throughout the year. Looking forward to that, as I know so many people were missing out on previous drops or having to buy from scalpers (not recommended, by the way).Anyway, great to see Finalmouse leading the way again, to even lighter weight and a cool new battery life feature on the puck. Pulsar X2V2 and X2H Review (1 and 2) | Light weight wireless gaming mice Rocket Jump Ninja 2023-10-09 | Some light weight wireless, top tier gaming mice from Pulsar, great to see. Size 1 actually suits me pretty well (18x9cm hands) so I didn't have any trouble aiming with them. No adjustment period either, very used to this kind of design already, but as always, if they're a new size/shape, be sure to give them about 2 to 3 weeks for your hand to settle. Pwnage StormBreaker Gaming Mouse Review (basically a magnesium wireless Zowie EC2) Rocket Jump Ninja 2023-09-23 | If you want a top tier light weight wireless mouse, basically the shape of the Zowie EC2, this is definitely worth a look. Pwnage has been around for a long while now, I've tried their mice before and they've been good, but this one seems a lot better (build, features, etc). Plus it's like the Finalmouse Starlights, which are amazing. Expensive, but if you want special mice like this, you have to pay the extra for them.Around 52g, long battery life and all that (you can check their website for all those details), was a lot of fun trying this one.As for ranking, I think the shape of the Viper V2 is still better for aim and I guess Razer would be a safer bet technology wise and all that (Razer is doing amazing work), but if I couldn't get the Viper and this suited my hand size, I'd be choosing this. I've found it's good to set that goal, but not to become it (don't define yourself like that).When it comes to creative works, it's really daunting. It's so hard to create anything, much easier to destroy or just criticize someone else's work. Not to say the criticism isn't valid, it's just way easier to do. So we need to fortify ourselves mentally so that we know it's ok to make mistakes and even have some failures along our journey toward perfection. Yes, people can be brutal. Yes, some are going to hate you and what you do. It's just how it is. But don't let that stop you from putting your work out and at least giving things a try. You'll improve much faster by actually doing things and putting them out, than sitting back and hiding yourself and what you're creating. So what's your actual goal? Being perfect? Impossible. Learning and improving along the way to perfection? That's perfect. Perfectly imperfect, which is all we can really do. And on the flip side, there are going to be people who love your work too... you just need to reach those people. Don't expect pop listeners to appreciate your death metal.And that's why I've decided now is the time to release my novels again and hopefully find people who enjoy reading them too. Some of you have read them before, this is a rewrite though, so some new structure, new chapters, and pretty much every word rewritten (probably only used 1% of the previous wording), so might still be worth checking out again! Especially for the new scenes. It isn't perfect, but I've put a lot of work in and it's honestly the best I can do for now. I'm going to continue on with the series, so hopefully I'll get book 2 out not too long into the future, then give book 3 a rewrite (it's only in first draft at the moment), and then finish 4 and 5 (5 in the series).Thanks for everything over the years, this channel has been extremely challenging and helped me grow a lot, and I'll keep pushing myself to get better. I was trying to decide what I'd use as the third weapon, especially because his ultimate ability charges up the Sentinel and Rampage.It also increases reload speed, weapon switch speed and movement speed, plus infinite ammo while active. You better one-mag people if they're in his ult, because in any prolonged fight, I think his team is going to win.And yeah most likely broken. Using a foot pedal in First Person Shooters: Leaning / Other | feat. With just a keyboard, I'd probably have to use toggle. I prefer to have full control though so that wouldn't be ideal for me.The foot pedal idea is one I've wanted to try for a long time. Not for Quake, because it's not needed, but I've definitely felt the need in Apex because it has a ridiculous amount of commands. Custom shell colour reference on Xtrfy mice | Feat. I came up with it after years of playing Quake. I would've switched to default by now if not for some glaring issues with the default config ... like not being able to switch between forward and back instantly (it uses the same finger) and how are you meant to have full dodging range while using your "Q" when your A and W are set to Strafe Left and Forward?My config gives me almost perfect freedom so that no vital commands overlap each other. A look at the tiny G-Wolves HSK mice - Wireless at only 41g Rocket Jump Ninja 2022-06-24 | I wanted to test these for a while because they were a really interesting thought. People were cutting the backs off their Finalmouse Ultralight 2s and I guess someone at G-Wolves saw that they liked it, so made a mouse designed for them.It's a safe shape, quite well done, but it's still tiny. I generally rest a bit of my palm on mice, so it was hard to grip these properly. 500 hours in Apex Legends | Game Review by FPS Veteran (23 years in Quake) Rocket Jump Ninja 2022-04-16 | After 23 years almost exclusively playing one series (Quake), I decided to really learn a new game, Apex Legends. I've put in over 500 hours since December 2021 to April 2022 (5 months) and now feel like I have my head around it pretty well. But with a game this complex, there's still so much more to learn, which is great, definitely keeping me interested.I tried to keep the review brief and I used some ratings for each part but I don't think giving games a score really reflects whether they're worth playing or not. My first mini ITX build | Is the Cooler Master NR200P MAX good for newbs like me? Yes. Rocket Jump Ninja 2022-01-19 | I've always liked the look of Mini ITX builds, definitely wanting to go more minimalist these days, but I even complain about not enough space to work in the bigger cases, so I stayed away from cases that would be even smaller. Then I saw that the Cooler Master NR200P MAX has the power supply and cooler already installed, plus the cables already routed. That's basically all the annoying parts done, so I decided to give Mini ITX a try, finally.And ... it's good! I ran into a few small things that slowed me down a bit, but otherwise, very easy and quick way to build a Mini ITX system. Seems high quality too, a lot of value considering the price. Cooler Master MM731 wireless fixed? And MM730 (wired) Mouse Review Rocket Jump Ninja 2022-01-15 | The MM731 had a few hiccups early on due to a firmware issue, but thankfully they've managed to fix it with the latest versions (or as far as I can tell, anyway, feels good in game). The features are quite good, easily up with the top mice, so it comes down to the shape, which is why I didn't rank it super high despite such a low weight. And you have the even lighter wired version with the MM730.I've been speaking to a few people who simply can't use the symmetrical shells I usually recommend, so it's good to have variety. I think this might be a little too pronounced though. Then again, I'm not one of those people, so I can't say for sure. You guys will have to give me some feedback on that. I think it's just an extra comfort thing, which may not unlock a huge aim potential, but can still be good. I'm more inclined to recommend an EC2 type design if you want this kind of shape. This is much lighter and wireless though, so it does have some advantages.Some say the forward sensor position is really good too. I personally haven't noticed the difference, I think our brains just adapt and that's it. Monitor definitely matters and one point of interest is the new DyAc+ tech from Zowie. Is it better than regular DyAc? What about 240Hz with DyAc+ vs 360Hz?It might offer some advantage, but tech is getting so good now, it's unlikely it's going to make that much difference. Unless you're going pro, where you need everything to be as perfect as possible, then maybe. If you're just a competitive player, I'd rather recommend a 1440p 240Hz monitor. And between 360Hz and 240Hz DyAc+? DyAc+ maybe very slightly a tiny bit better, just because of the blur test in Overwatch that we do. But in game? I didn't think about it or notice it, it's more about game sense and how well I'm playing in other ways.You should know what to expect from BenQ Zowie monitors, good quality, always enjoyed playing on them, pretty cool look, competitive-player focused, and the settings changing puck is great. So yeah, if you're after a great 240Hz 1080p monitor for competitive play, it's great. Niche mouse made even more niche with shape changes | Logitech G303 Wireless Shroud Review Rocket Jump Ninja 2021-12-12 | I started my review career with the Logitech G302. Why? Because I had been using a DeathAdder for 5 years and KNEW that I had aimed better in the past. So I went searching for a smaller mouse and the G302 was the only good one that I could see at the time (how things change!).It would've been nice to get a 1:1 remake of the G303 but wireless, but this isn't it. They've altered the dimensions in such a way that the angles are now more aggressive, and I don't think that's a good thing. It's going to make the shape even more polarizing. Might be really good for some people though, so that's a plus.So, as always, it's up to you to find what you like. This is just my preference. Underrated large mouse? Corsair Sabre RGB Pro and Wireless Review Rocket Jump Ninja 2021-11-27 | I've made it no secret I haven't been a fan of a fair few Corsair mice, so I admit, it took me way too long to look at these. My apologies. These belong on the Top Mice list and should be in your consideration if you're looking for a top tier large mouse, whether wired or wireless.Great features, fairly low weight, decent cable or wireless, depending on version you get, good customization ... they have everything right, but how did they go with the shape? Well, it's a lot less niche than the original Sabre. It still has some slight flaring on the sides, giving it very slight skirts to keep your fingers from resting on the pad, but they're not big enough to prevent it if you really want to. Mouse design is subtle. If they make the shape too ergonomic, it can become unsafe. But if they just give us a rectangle, it won't be comfortable. I think they've struck a good balance and most people should be able to find a comfortable grip on it, depending on hand size, of course.Really impressed with these mice, Corsair have done a great job, really good to see them levelling up like this. Which is better for aim, CONTROL or SPEED pad? My first official mouse pad release! You can get used to it and play well, but I found I prefered to just play one standard sensitivity. But I did like the idea of good control on small movements, and more free movement on large swipes.Amazingly, that's what I found with this pad.
