sunday afternoon espresso boat 2022-08-24 | Don't mind the tempo being all over the place in the music. I forgot the last 2 bars and had to check my project file. Spent not even 5 minutes on it because the original video was made as a prank for The Ghost Show, where I replaced the espresso machine sound with Ghost doing his humming exercise and adding a re-recorded slow pour sound.The Breville Barista Express has its own built-in grinder, but I'm still going to use my manual coffee grinder 1ZPRESSO J-MAX because it's better and specially made for the very fine adjustments that I need to fine-tune espresso results. I also got it for the manual lever-operated espresso machine to the right, Flair Pro 2. The Comandante C40 is also capable of grinding fine for espresso, but lacks small adjustments that I'd have to mess with dose size to get what I want.Wine bottle cork + snipped guitar strings = cheap and effective WDT (Weiss distribution tool), to help distribute the grounds evenly and break up clumps to reduce the chance of channeling, when water in a high pressure environment eventually finds the path of least resistance to stream through, instead of evenly flowing through the entire puck. I did end up buying a $40 tool later, which was more pleasant to use but equally as effective.Tamp mats are upside down. They're what came with the Breville BE. All the countertops here have rounded edges, so oh well lol.
