The Wildwasserweg, or Wild Water Trail is a short walk from Griesalp in the remote upper Kiental in the Kandertal in the Bernese Alps. Here water from the Blüemisalphorn, on the west side of valley, fans out and cascades downs a broad rock face to form Dündenfall. The water coming off the Gspaltehorn on the east flows into a narrow chasm, then bursts down Pochtenfall as it crashes into the canyon walls. Finally, the two currents collide in the tumultuous Hexenkessel—The Witch’s cauldron. This short walk is a popular rest day activity on Alpenwild’s Bernese Oberland Traverse.
