Shower drain biofilm is what actually clogs your shower drain. I pulled the slime out of my clogged drain with a suction cup, put it under the microscope, and found countless bacteria. Biofilm, not hair or soap, is what causes most shower drain clogs. In this video: what biofilm is, why drains clog even with a hair filter, why drain cleaners and disinfectants do not work on their own, and how to remove biofilm properly.
