Welcome to Roots, an authentic vanilla Minecraft Let's Play where I try to rediscover what made me fall in love with Minecraft way back in 2013. This series aims to capture the nostalgia of "golden age" Minecraft with the new, modern content such as the Nether Update, Caves and Cliffs Update, Wild Update, and more. Inspiration for this series came in part from @Mogswamp and his insane superflat forever world!

In episode 16, I get rid of the incredible Xaero's Minimap mod, forcing myself to find vanilla alternatives.
