The Emoji Movie is a movie released in 2017, that very quickly garnered a reputation for being one of the worst animated movies ever made. The incredibly creatively bankrupt nature of the film's premise naturally made it a target of mockery and ridicule, and the fact that the film shamelessly rips off other animated movies doesn't help matter out at all.
In no way am I defending The Emoji Movie, but in recent times, I began to wonder if it's truly as abhorrent as its reputation makes it out to be. Make no mistake, The Emoji Movie is a BAD movie, but it's not necessarily the worst thing ever made.
