The wife and I planting potatoes and having fun doing this. Last year was the first year we tried fall planting and it was a huge success. Again I don't like much fuss, so we sow our spuds in the fall to cut down on fuss, such as winter seed storage, and planting in spring. We were incredibly successful last year using this Irish method here in Canada. Those winter and spring jobs are now off the table, so you can concentrate on the patio and yard.
