It's somehow been ten years since Yooka-Laylee's Kickstarter campaign and, to celebrate, Playtonic have released Yooka-Replaylee, a remake of the game. This release goes beyond being a mere remaster and could almost be considered a reimagining. It changes the story, gives us all of our moves from the start, increases the Pagie count from 145 to 300 and features a ton of quality-of-life upgrades.
Sadly, it's not all good news, as there weresome behind-the-scenes issues that became very public and those might impact your purchasing decision. It's especially impactful to this game given its core narrative and main antagonist.
