In Homer’s Odyssey, it took Odysseus ten whole years to return to Ithaca after the Trojan War. Not because he didn’t want to go home, but because life — like the sea — was full of trials. He faced monsters, temptations, wrong turns, and even the anger of the gods. But he never gave up.
And maybe… that’s a little like all of us.
We all have our own “Ithaca” — a goal, a dream, a place where we feel we belong. And along the way, we face our own Cyclopes, our own storms, our own doubts. Sometimes the journey feels too long, and we wonder if we’ll ever get there.
But just like Odysseus, what matters is that we keep going. If he could make it through all that, maybe we can too.
