So many have wondered why someone like myself, who can't use a mirror, who can't see themselves, who has been legally blind for their entire life would want to wear makeup. It's a complicated story of self expression, gender norms, conditioning, social armour, wanting to be perceived as equal and "normal" and so much more. Who would have guessed that makeup could be so many things. Especially for a blind girl. I want to know what your relationship has been with makeup and fashion. Why do you choose to present in a particular way? Why do you wear makeup or not?
