Jehovah's Witnesses often claim that they were to only ones that did not supported Adolf Hitler or the German war effort. This is not true.

Even thou many JWs took a bold stand against the Nazis, this was not something that happened automatically. And since the Watchtower religion did not practice disfellowshipping or shunning at that point, no one would be disfellowshipped if they did.

An elder in my Norwegian JW congregation told me himself how he had build the achoring points for the German battleship Tirpitz when this was hidden away in Fættenfjord.
