When Disaster Strikes - America Meeting the Challenge
Incorporating real-life examples from U.S. disasters, this 20 minute video portrays how government, private sector groups, and citizens work together to prepare for and respond to disasters of all kinds. When Disaster Strikes explains the roles of local, state and federal government, volunteer organizations such as the American Red Cross and other key groups involved in planning and response efforts. The video also explores the important role that individual citizens play, providing information that all Americans should know to protect themselves and their families.
