🇦🇺🌅 WHEN DAY SHIFT MEETS NIGHT SHIFT — STRAYA EDITION 🌙🦇
Righto, so here we are… classic Aussie crossover episode.
Day shift’s clocked in — led by the one and only sulphur-crested cocky. Loud, bossy, and fully convinced he owns the joint. You don’t see cockatoos… you hear ‘em three suburbs over. And if there’s one, there’s about 20 million of its closest mates backing him up.
So old mate cocky’s up there, surveying HIS kingdom like a feathered foreman…when in strolls the night shift. Enter: Spectacular Spectacled flying fox , the teddies of the sky 🦇out in broad daylight like he’s missed the memo completely. Now normally, these legends are tucked up during the day — proper night owls. But chuck in some melaleuca flowers and suddenly it’s “stuff it, I’m doing overtime.”
Cocky clocks him immediately nosy buggars they are.
You can just see the thoughts:“Oi… you’re not rostered on, mate.”“This is MY shift.”“Who approved this?” Meanwhile, the bat’s just there for a feed :“Relax, Karen, I’m just grabbing a snack.”
And there you have it —Day shift losing its mind, night shift doing a cheeky day cameo, and absolutely no one sticking to the schedule.
Only in Australia do you get workplace drama like this… mid-air… with wings… and zero HR department. 😂
Just some more day footage of some usually nocturnal bats doing the day shift . It really is chaos and so much fun to watch . The cockatoos were very curious of the bats . And it’s was fun to watch them interact absolutely chaos for a while . And they are our early due to the melaleuca flowers which they can not resist .
