I got my seaplane rating back in 2014 and it completely changed my life. I trained in a Piper Super Cub on floats in Talkeetna, Alaska and it is one of my favorite aviation experiences to recount. It's the most raw adventure I have ever experienced and although it is only 5.7 hours of my logbook, it's by far my favorite hours logged. I would love to get a seaplane one day because of the adventures I describe in this video. I hope that sharing stories like this helps show you what aviation can uniquely offer and convinces you that NOW might be the time to pursue your license!
