What the H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY-STICKS is happening at the Story Grid? There have been some alarming accusations of programs being disbanded, disruptive sudden changes to their expensive mentorship offering, and AI use .
Because I've made so many videos on the Story Grid, I wanted to try to bring this issue to more people's attention. Any potential student should be aware of what's being discussed behind the scenes, at least until the Story Grid makes some statement and/or changes their marketing materials.
Since posting this, I have seen significant evidence substantiating both the AI accusations (although part of the system is reportedly deterministic - ie not LLMs, though it does seem like LLMs are still involved in the last step) and the terrible treatment of the mentors in their mentor program.
