What is the Leidenfrost Effect? Discovered by Johann Gottlab Leidenfrost, this amazing science effect allows levitation and the conservation of liquids in extreme temperatures! DO NOT TRY THESE LIQUID NITROGEN EXPERIMENTS AT HOME! I put liquid nitrogen on my skin to show the effects of the leidenfrost effect. I do so, knowing what will happen and have safety in place that is not shown on video. Have fun and do science!
