Forty years ago Nintendo released their first console the NES and changed the gaming landscape. Now, let's take a look back, and figuring out which game best defines, exemplifies and is ultimately the best of each year!

Rules I cut from the intro, because they were boring:
1. Must be a Nintendo published game (I cheated and picked Pokemon Go for 2016)
2. NA Release Dates
3. Started with 1985, because I didn't want to talk about arcade games for 10 minutes
4. No remakes or re-releases
