Maybe it's just me, but it feels like holidays are what they used to be. Whether it's Christmas starting in August, Easter feeling less important, or Thanksgiving being overshadowed by everything, things have changed a lot since I was a kid.

I still get excited about the holidays, especially as the fall rolls around and Halloween draws near, but I feel less like they are events now and more like they are just another part of the year.
