I traveled to Cabo San Lucas for a family wedding and stayed at The Cape, a Thompson Hotel. While I was hired to film the full wedding event, I decided (last minute) to bring along my newly purchased Insta360 X5 to test it out for some fun travel content.
This is my first time using a 360 camera since the GoPro Max, and it was a blast experimenting with the X5 during the dance party. The lighting was intense and low at times, which gave me a crash course in the camera’s low-light capabilities. I definitely picked up a few lessons for next time—like skipping Color Plus during export, shooting in log or flat color profiles, and adjusting the EV to avoid blown-out highlights.
Overall, this is just a fun, casual look at an unforgettable night in Cabo. Expect more polished 360 content as I get to know this camera better!
