NASA’s sky mapper, SPHEREx, and Sun gazer, PUNCH, lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on March 11 at 11:10 pm ET.
SPHEREx is an all-sky spectral survey and PUNCH will use the polarization of light to measure the corona and solar wind in 3D.
