MrGSTAR321Game: Mortal Kombat Chaotic (MUGEN) System: PC
Me (GSTAR321) doing another live commentary and playthrough of Mortal Kombat Chaotic (MUGEN).
Mortal kombat MUGEN games are fan made games.
I have to say, I really enjoyed this particular MUGEN back when I did my first playthrough of it. Now though ... I hate this game. Hate it.
Bugs, glitches, broken AI, freezing, crashing, messed up sound, terrible character announcements, questionable characters, sprites drawn in paint, finishers that don't work ... this game is an absolute disgrace. This is my second and final playthrough of this ass MUGEN.

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and online match of 'Friday The 13th : The Game' as Jason (Part V) for the Xbox One X.
Released in 2017 for the Xbox One, PS4, PC, and in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch; Friday the 13th : The Game is a classic online multiplayer game.
Unfortunately due to the official servers being shutdown sometime in late 2020, I can't really recommend this game as of now. Though, in it's heyday it was pure online multiplayer fun. The games consist of 8 player online matches. 1 player is Jason and the other 7 players are camp counselors. The goal of the camp counselors is to try and escape within the 20 minute match timeframe. And the goal of Jason is simple, kill them before they escape!

Enjoy!Streets Of Rage 3 - Playthrough (Sega Genesis)MrGSTAR3212018-07-21 | Game: Streets Of Rage 3 AKA Bare Knuckle 3 Version: Japanese System: Sega Genesis / Sega Mega Drive
Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Streets Of Rage 3 for the Sega Genesis.
Streets Of Rage 3 is my favorite game in the series. I personally prefer this over Streets Of Rage 2. Why?
Simply put, the combat in this game is the most refined out of the series and feels damn good to play. There are multiple paths/endings. There are secret boss and sub boss characters you can play as. And once again, Yuzo Koshiro composes the awesome soundtracks (though I think Streets Of Rage 2 just wins out on the music factor).
The Streets Of Rage games are hands down the best 2D-side scrolling beat-em-ups ever made. It's debatable as to what specific game is the best, but for me - Streets Of Rage 3 is the ultimate entry in the series.
Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and walkthrough of 'Detention' for the PC.
Detention is dare I say, the most unique game I've ever played. Simply put, it's a 2D side-scrolling 'point and click' horror game. And it's fantastic.
Set during 1960's Taiwan under martial law, you play as protagonists Wei and Ray (Predominantly Ray though), who are trapped in their high school during a typhoon alert. Exploring the school you discover it's haunted, and end up learning of it's dark history.
Amazing atmosphere. Excellent graphics and art design. Superb music and sound. Integrates religious elements based on Taiwanese/Chinese culture and mythology. An intense and tragic story.
This is a game I will not be forgetting anytime soon ...

Gameplay starts at 7:24Planet Of Bloodthirsty Santa (Indie Horror) Walkthrough - PCMrGSTAR3212018-03-04 | Game: Planet Of Bloodthirsty Santa System: PC Played/Commentary By: GSTAR321
In this video I play through the 'Planet Of Bloodthirsty Santa' for the PC.
'Planet Of Bloodthirsty Santa' is an Indie Horror game made by the same creator/s (Puppet Combo) who made the 'Power Drill Massacre' and 'Babysitter Bloodbath'.
You play as protagonist Beth, and you are part of a scavenger crew that has just landed on a seemingly deserted and unexplored planet. You are tasked with locating precious minerals and returning to the ship. However, you are rather reluctant as the planet seems a little too quiet. Upon exploration of the planet you discover the horror and macabre that lie in 'Santas Village'. Can you make it out alive? And have you been naughty or nice?
Another fantastic Indie horror game by Puppet Combo studios. The atmosphere is on-point and the music/sound design is amazing.

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Bloody Roar for the PSX (Played on my PS3 via the PSN version). I play as Gado.
Bloody Roar is one of the most enjoyable fighting games to play. It was released in arcades back in 1997 under the title 'Beastorizer'. Later on in that same year, it was ported to the PSX under the title 'Bloody Roar'.
Bloody Roar is unique compared with other fighting games due to one specific aspect: You can morph mid-fight into a 'Beast'. This is exceptionally well done and makes the matches extremely enjoyable. Characters can morph into any number of things such as a Lion, Wild Boar, a Wolf, Gorilla and so on. When characters take on their 'Beast' form, they gain additional attacks, combos and other abilities.
This game (along with the rest in the franchise) is incredible. It's one of the most classic fighting games I think of when I look back to the past. Do yourself a favour, check this game out and get some Bloody Roar into you!
Arcade playthrough starts at 15:35

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of 'The Evil Within' on AKUMU difficulty.
The Evil Within is a survival horror game directed by Shinji Mikami and was released in 2014. It is available on PC, PS3, PS4, XBOX 360 & XBOX ONE.
Shinji Mikami does what he does best and has provided us with yet another great survival horror game. The Evil Within is VERY similar in gameplay mechanics to 'Resident Evil 4', and it makes sense as Mikami directed that game as well.
I give praise to the games atmosphere, pacing and gameplay but personally find the story to be a convoluted mess. Still, if you can manage to get your head around it, you will find it somewhat entertaining (though laughable). Locating all the collectables is a must in terms of gaining a better understanding of the story.
But aside from that, the monster designs are fantastic, the level design and atmosphere is amazing, and the gameplay is on point. With a mix of stealth, gunplay, traps and intense boss battles, this is a great game. An essential addition to any survival horror lovers repertoire!

In these walkthrough videos I play through 'Diablo : Hellfire' for the PC.
Diablo was originally released back in 1996 for the PC, and subsequently ported to the PSX in 1998. In 1997, an expansion pack called 'Diablo : Hellfire' was released.
Essentially, this is a 'Hack n Slash' RPG. And a damn good one at that. You pick a class; either a Warrior, Rogue or Sorcerer (and if your playing 'Diablo : Hellfire', then there is also the Monk class to choose). The goal is simple: Level up your character, improve their stats, find better gear and kill Diablo. Strategy is needed to play, as each class has their own strengths/weaknesses.
This is one of the greatest games ever made. The atmosphere and music alone is incredible. The 'Diablo : Hellfire' expansion includes: The Monk class, new quests, two new dungeon settings (The Hive & The Crypt), extra items such as oils and runes, new spells, new shrines, new affixes for weapons and armor, new monsters and Diablo himself is even stronger. You can also jog in town too!
Simply put, this game is a must play. A timeless indisputable classic.
Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Tekken 7 (Arcade Battle & Online Ranked Matches). I play as Law.
Tekken 7 was actually released back in 2015 in Arcades in Japan. The PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions were released in June 2017.
Tekken 7 is another fantastic Tekken game! It does away with the tag matches in favor for one on one battles. There are two key new features added to the fighting mechanics here, the 'Rage Art/Drive' and the 'Power Crush' moves. Also, Tekken 7 abandons the 'Bound' system and replaces it with 'Screw Attacks', which do the job just as well, if not better.
The single player aspect of the game is somewhat lacking. Arcade Mode for example, consists of only five fights, with no character specific endings. There is also no tutorial, so newcomers may be put off and confused by the fighting mechanics. However, where this game really shines is online play. Matches are plentiful and a blast to play. It's highly enjoyable spending time in Practice mode mastering your chosen character, then taking what you've learnt to the online scene.
Overall, Tekken 7 is a solid fighting game. The mechanics are fantastic. Mastering your chosen character feels rewarding. The soundtrack is great and the graphics are outstanding too. Do not pass this one up!

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary tutorial and playthrough of Slice, Dice & Rice for the PC.
Slice, Dice & Rice is a Indie fighting game developed by 'Dojo Games' and released in April 2017. It draws inspiration heavily from the PSX classic 'Bushido Blade' and features a 'one-hit-kill' fighting system.
There are no special moves and no life bars. One hit, and you will die (though, there are some exceptions). There are eight characters in total to use and master, each with their own story and unique attacks, advantages and disadvantages.
The graphics are stunning, the music is outstanding and the gameplay is solid. This is an extremely enjoyable game to play, but somewhat short-lived, as there is no online play available.
Still, for what it is, this is a great game and I highly recommend it!
Enjoy!

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Mortal Kombat 3 (Arcade).
Mortal Kombat 3 was released back in 1995. In my eyes, it's a largely forgotten Mortal Kombat game, as I feel it's overshadowed by 'Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3'. Still, this was an important game in the series.
Mortal Kombat 3 introduced a number of new features including: The ability to run, combos, mercy and animalities as well as interactable stages and 'Kombat Kodes'. A number of new characters were also introduced.
Overall, this is still one of the classic Mortal Kombat games, and you can't go wrong. It was essentially the 'prototype' for Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Injustice 2 for the Xbox One. I play as Red Hood.
The sequel to the classic fighting game 'Injustice : Gods Among Us'; Injustice 2 is here. It was released in May 2017 for the Xbox One and PS4.
Injustice 2 is fantastic! It remains for the most part, unchanged, in terms of its fighting mechanic compared to its predecessor (which is a good thing). So what's new with Injustice 2? Well, to start with, the characters. There's a superb selection of new characters to play as. Notable stand-outs include: Deadshot, Captain Cold, Darkseid and Scarecrow (who is actually voiced by Robert Englund). All are a blast to play.
There is also now a strong focus on character customization and unlockables. Gear can be be equipped which will not only provide a different look, but also improve characters base attributes and make them stronger. This is necessary for completing tough battle simulators in the 'Multiverse'. The Multiverse is a great new feature, a concept akin to 'Living Towers' from Mortal Kombat X.
Overall, this is a MUST if you enjoyed the first game. The graphics are absolutely outstanding, the characters are diverse and enjoyable to play, and there is a ton of time to be spent in the Multiverse and character customization areas. Get it NOW!

Left 4 Dead 2 needs no introduction. It's one of the best co-op games ever made. In this video I go through the awesome custom campaign 'Resident Evil 3'. I much prefer playing online with people when going through campaigns, but here I wanted to show you guys how to complete this campaign effectively (In terms of solving the puzzles and so on).
This campaign is amazing. It captures the essence of Resident Evil 3 so well. The music is here, the puzzles, the locations, it's absolutely brilliant. There are even Nemesis encounters! (Tank encounters)
If you love Resident Evil 3, you'll love this. A must play custom campaign!

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Injustice : Gods Among Us for the PS3. I play as Shazam.
Simply put, this a fighting game involving characters from the DC Universe. It was developed by NetherRealm Studios, the same people who brought us Mortal Kombat 9 and Mortal Kombat X.
This game was released after Mortal Kombat 9, and you can see that it takes heavy influence from it. The similarities between the two are significant (in terms of the fighting mechanics). For example, instead of 'X-Ray Attacks', the DC characters have 'Super Moves'. You can also burn meter to enhance your special moves, exactly like in Mortal Kombat 9.
Despite the similarities though, this game has a number of new, unique and welcome features, most notably the 'Clash System' and 'Stage Transitions'. And even though I'm not much of a fan of DC characters, they're a blast to play! You have heroes such as Batman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern, as well as villains such as Bane, Doomsday and Lex Luthor. Scorpion from Mortal Kombat is even a playable character!
This game is a must for any fighting game fan. It's incredibly enjoyable to play, and has a lot of depth and technicality to it. You'll find yourself racking up hours in practice mode mastering your chosen fighters combos!

So what's different between Virtua Fighter 5 and Virtua Fighter 5 : Final Showdown? Well this one has new stages, new music, new character costumes and animations, and two extra characters (the returning Sumo 'Taka-Arashi' from Virtua Fighter 3, and the all new character 'Jean Kujo'). Also, Dural can be unlocked and played here!
Once again, this is another gorgeous looking Virtua Fighter game. It can be a bit challenging to learn, but stick with it and you will find it very rewarding! Here's hoping for Virtua Fighter 6!

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Mortal Kombat Project (MUGEN).
Mortal kombat MUGEN games are fan made games.
Well, this is certainly an interesting one. I have to say, this is a blast to play! Out of all the MK MUGEN games I've played, this is up there as being the most enjoyable.
Why is it so damn fun? Well predominately I would say it's the characters that really shine here, and they 'make' the game. Without them, I would probably say this is just another generic MK MUGEN.
But besides the unique characters that you can play, this feels like a pretty polished MK MUGEN. The moves feel great to pull off, combos look awesome and the sound/music is fantastic as well.
It's not perfect, there are still a few bugs/glitches. But overall I recommend this one!
In this video I play through the demo of 'Banned Memories : Yamanashi' for the PC.
'Banned Memories : Yamanashi' is an upcoming Indie Horror game still in development, created by Noah Pauw. Noah also composed the soundtrack for the game.
This game is fantastic. Even though this is just a demo, I see a lot of potential here. 'Banned Memories : Yamanashi' is a survival horror game. It mimics and pays homage to the PS1 classic 'Silent Hill' (as well as PS1 survival horror games in general). The graphics are purposely downgraded to resemble the PS1 style graphics, and the controls are very similar to the controls of 'Silent Hill'. This game is a re-creation of old school survival horror, and it's done well, VERY well.
You play as a teacher named 'Hideo Ueda', and the year is 1993. You go back to the school of Yamanashi (which has now closed down) where you previously taught, to investigate a series of crimes/tortures that took place there by some of the former teachers.
What will you find? Are you also involved?
This game is pure nostalgia and a MUST for anyone who grew up playing classic PS1 survival horror!
Enjoy!
Gameplay starts at 5:15Babysitter Bloodbath (Indie Horror) Walkthrough - PCMrGSTAR3212017-02-25 | Game: Babysitter Bloodbath System: PC Played/Commentary By: GSTAR321
In this video I play through the 'Babysitter Bloodbath' for the PC.
The 'Babysitter Bloodbath' is a small Indie Horror game made by the same creator/s who made the 'Power Drill Massacre'.
In essence, this game IS the 1978 slasher film 'Halloween'. And originally, that's what this game was titled. But due to copyright issues it was changed to the 'Babysitter Bloodbath'. Also, the game under its original title 'Halloween', used music directly from the movie, and cast the villain to look exactly like Michael Myers. But alas, also due to copyright, these details were changed in the 'Babysitter Bloodbath', and the music from the movie is not included; 'Michael Myers' if you will, appears to now look somewhat more generic.
This game is similar to the 'Power Drill Massacre' in terms of its controls and how it plays. However, the 'Babysitter Bloodbath' is a bit more in depth, allowing you to find, store and use items/weapons. It's simple. Your name is Sarah and you're tasked with babysitting a kid for the night. But ... can you make it through the night?
For what it is, this is a bloody scary game and the atmosphere is on point!
Enjoy!

In this video I play through the 'Power Drill Massacre' for the PC.
'Power Drill Massacre' is a small Indie Horror game, and it's terrifying. Absolutely terrifying.
Essentially, this game pays homage to classic 80's horror movies, and old school PS1 Survival Horror games such as Silent Hill, Resident Evil etc.
The game throws you straight into the mix. There is a car crash in the middle of nowhere. Somehow you survive, but your husband is bleeding out behind the wheel, barely able to talk. You decide to go look for help. Wading through remote bush land you come to a building. A house? A factory? Who knows, but you go inside. Enter ... the 'Power Drill Massacre'.
A must play for fans of horror. If you have a weak heart however, you may want to skip this ...
Enjoy!

Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and 'Klassic Tower' playthrough of Mortal Kombat XL as Leatherface.
Dare I say it, this is one of, if not, THE best Mortal Kombat game to date!
A deep, technical fighter, Mortal Kombat X/XL has completely blown me away. This is a FANTASTIC Mortal Kombat game. It's so much more refined than it's predecessor 'Mortal Kombat 9', I feel almost everything has been improved.
The core new distinguishing feature of Mortal Kombat X/XL, is that every character now has three unique 'Variations' to choose from. And each variation comes with it's own unique moves and combos! This in effect, makes mirror matches totally different!
A MUST BUY Mortal Kombat game. A MUST BUY!
Also, with the XL edition, you get all characters, costumes/skins and so on from the get go!

Command & Conquer : Generals is a brilliant real-time strategy (RTS) game. You play as one of three factions: USA, China & the GLA (Global Liberation Army). Each faction is well-balanced and highly enjoyable to use.
Although nowadays the graphics might be a little hard to take, this is still one of the most enjoyable RTS games I've played. The atmosphere is excellent, with each faction using diverse units and different tactics to win; the battle music is outstanding for each faction as well.
To sum it up; well-balanced, great factions with great units, different tactics between the factions & superb music. I simply can't recommend this game enough!
