I don't know if my memory is tricking me but I do believe I also played a demo of Cyber Speedway but it was on a SEGA FLASH demo disc, not sure. Either way the video ends before the song is finished so I added a Daytona and Panzer Dragoon videos also from the first bootleg sampler. The video file was taken directly from the the Saturn disc with a lovely ancient TrueMotion S video codec, which surprisingly I can still play on most media players. However After Effects was having a hard time display a proper pixel ratio so I had to convert it to another format. I think the conversion might have done something wrong to the aspect ratio or even ate a few pixel rows, I'm not sure, but either way the original video is already a blocky mess so I'm not going to quibble over it. And the thumbnail automatic generation was pretty fortunate, it managed to land on the 3 frames where the cyber speedway logo appears, pretty nice. This track is also titled as "Day Glo Blues" with an extra space in the 1997 "Freedom" album release, and I have no clue what a "day glo" or a "dayglo" is, so I have no clue what's the proper spelling.

Quando estava a vasculhar os arquivos à procura deste video encontrei umas video entrevistas para programas de música com a Natália e mesmo antes de ter o disco gravado já estava a antecipar e a promover o lançamento. Tendo em conta que era uma banda desconhecida que só teve um EP que ninguém ouviu, faz-me crer que a Valentim de Carvalho tinha muitas esperanças para os Diva e já se estava a adiantar a promover-los como se fossem a grande nova coisa. I played it a few years ago, and when I reached the ridiculous last level I was confronted with a bunch of challenge areas that you need to traverse by choosing the right doors otherwise it would loop on itself and repeat, plus all the previous bosses, plus 4 new bosses, and a final boss with 3 stages. Suffice to say I rage quitted. This Christmas however my brother decided to torture me and gifted me the game, which he jokingly apologized for as now I would have to finish it. I mention this because it's a relatively unknown game, the only way one would even find it would be looking up the releases of the Shinobi series or maybe digging through Yuzo Koshiro's music and just try your luck. There is no news about the game, there isn't people remixing the music, there is basically no one mentioning the game outside other turbofats like me. However on christmas morning, exactly as I was unwrapping and playing this game, one of the composers (Motohiro Kawashima) decided to upload a piano remix of one of its tracks. It struck me as such a weird coincidence, that I'm going to archive it here. It's actually a pretty nice piece, even the original. The game easily has the best music on the system. He also confirmed a few days ago he composed most of the tracks from the game, previously we just knew him and Yuzo Koshiro composed the songs, but we didn't know which tracks were composed by who. Lastly, I actually managed to beat the game. Good game, go play it.

Aplaudo quando ele caga em Lisboa, mas como muitos da sua época o seu foco é desconstrução, esta claramente influenciada por filosofia oriental. Como uma personagem ele torna-se um artista interessante de se tentar entender, e talvez com alguma razão percebe-se porque acabou por ser tão afastado da ribalta, sendo somente apreciado pelos seus contemporâneos. No entanto a obra deste malaquias é uma peça de puzzle engraçada de se tentar reconstruir, juntando esteticismos do rock alternativo com símbolos nacionais. [CRT Overlay Test] Popful Mail — No No Pessimist — Megumi Hayashibara TRASHMAN 2022-04-24 | I did something really stupid. I pointed my phone at my CRT and then used that footage to be overlayed on top of original digital footage from my last video upload. As in both are now are digitally interspliced in different layers with different blending mods, plus other tinkerings. Since my CRT has some pretty ghastly geometry distortion I then had to distort the digital footage with a mesh warp so the overlay could match up on top of it. Not only that the frames desync constantly and don't match up and creating some heavy ghosting. So why did I do this? So you don't have to. But I was really just wondering how it would look. And you can only really see any of the CRT grille in 1080p, otherwise just looks like a regular video.
