I've had my 340i for over a week now, just long enough to note a few things I like and some things I don't like. After driving an E90 for 6 years, there were a few things that jumped out at me about my new F30.
At the end of the day, I know this was the right choice. While the new car is slightly larger and has worse steering feel, it gets enough things right that I can look past its shortcomings.
The highlight of the 340i is the B58 motor paired with the 8 speed automatic transmission. The shifts are lightning fast and the motor is impressive, even in stock form.
