As requested, welcome to my video walkthrough series of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, provided with commentary and videos rendered in 1080p HD quality. The aim of the series is to show you how to complete this game 100% in an efficient way, while I take my trip to memory lane as I play along.
In this ninth part, the third Spell Challenge is up - the Diffindo Challenge. This one is interesting as it covers new enemies, new features that interact with the word, and lots of new secrets to discover.
MAP SECRETS CHECKLIST
[1/11] 1:55 - 'Flower Wall' to the left of the cauldron
[2/11] 3:30 - Four hidden Flippendo switches on the first snail area
[3/11] 5:36 - Area under the bridge when encountering the mushrooms for the first time
[4/11] - 10:57 - Hidden Lumos area at the end of the bridge, before casting Diffindo
[5/11] - 11:12 - Hidden Lumos area to the right after crossing the bridge, after casting Diffindo on the rope supporting the bridge
[6/11] - 11:47 - Related to secret #5, push block in area before crossing the bridge
[7/11] - 18:18 - Hidden Flippendo switch on ledge area
[8/11] - 22:05 - Hidden Flippendo switch after pushing snails into more plates
[9/11] - 24:28 - 'Flower Wall' directly in front of you when following the map
[10/11] - 25:38 - Similar to secret #9, 'Flower Wall'
[11/11] - 27:25 - Discovery of the secret at that timestamp, reveal of the hidden treasure chest at 28:27
Please note that this walkthrough is recorded in different sessions. This means that continious gameplay is recorded for roughly about an hour, which is then divided into several parts as Lux sees fit. Therefore, do not be confused with random greetings and goodbyes in several parts throughout this series.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a 2002 action-adventure game published by Electronic Arts and developed by both EA's internal development team and Eurocom for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance systems. It was simultaneously co-developed by Amaze Entertainment for Windows, Mac and the Game Boy Color systems. An original version was also created for the PlayStation by Argonaut Games.
The PC/Mac version of the game, which was created by a different developer than the console versions, features completely different levels and gameplay from the console cousins. The game features the same graphics and character design as the Philosopher's Stone (PC).
