21 years to the day, re-live the opening titles of the hit documentary series Walking with Dinosaurs.

On October 4th 1999, the groundbreaking documentary first hit our television screens. Each week we travelled back in time to explore the wonderous prehistoric world that was once roamed by dinosaurs. The programme was a massive hit success, appealing to global audiences, birthing a multitude of spin-offs and sequels, and even forming the basis of a live worldwide event known as Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular.

The theme for the intro, as well as the complete soundtrack, was composed by Benjamin Bartlett and featured in all six episodes.

Thanks to the creative forces behind this iconic series, many of us today can accredit our passion for prehistory and dinosaurs to these very programmes.
