Here is Rocky Top Tennessee, performed by Rocky and The Ramblin Rascals at Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY!Rocky and The Ramblin Rascals is a retrofitted Munch’s Make Believe Band from an old New York Pizza Time Theatre that was auctioned off in the mid 90’s, we still don’t know the exact origins of the show unfortunately. A lot of original cosmetics from the stage are still on the characters, just covered up or painted over. This was an absolute treat to see in person, while the condition of the show is pretty bad, it functions pretty decently for probably not being touched in years. In addition to the show, they also have a WORKING helicopter light, flag wavers, and a CLAPPER BOARD! (albeit non functioning). Definitely make the visit up to Old Forge if you can, it’s one of the last cyberamic shows you can visit in a public place regardless of it being in a Chuck E. Cheese! Cheese song infamously known as “Everybody Say Cheese It’s Funner” that was given to me by the GM of Lowell, MA at the time. It was on a CD that also had a narration of the story of how Chuck E. Cheese met all of his band members, (an example being Pasqually chasing Chuck with a kitchen knife when they first met etc). Unfortunately, I do not have that story audio and that is still lost media as I was only sent this song via email in 2012.I had originally uploaded this onto my old YouTube channel (chuckecheeesekid) back in the day so this really wasn’t in public circulation after I had privated the video, i had never really found a place to reupload it besides sharing the audio file in a few discord servers, so now it can be viewed in it’s highest quality here. Yep you read that correctly, Tallahassee’s stage is no longer with us. Which means we are down to 3 3-Stages!!!! When I was in Florida earlier this year I knew that Tallahassee was on borrowed time, so that’s why it was a necessity to visit before it was too late, and thank goodness I did. In 2024, this store was a gold mine and something I have not seen Chuck E. Cheese look like in over a decade, and I’m very glad I got to experience that one last time.When I was visiting I was able to get a special viewing of the skit comparison while they were running diagnostics on the show…. since the stage has been removed I have decided to share this video with you guys to pay tribute. Hicksville is in amazing shape and probably one of the best conditioned stages I have ever seen. I have been hearing rumors about this store possibly keeping the stage with the remodel, one can only hope. CEC better listen!With the condition this stage is in, it would be a huge mistake to remove it. But with only 25 stages left in the whole world, I had to make a trip down here to see it just in case it got removed…. you cant trust CEC sometimes unfortunately. The fact that my nearest existing stage is 4 hours away from me now is insane. Pretty soon we are gonna be counting the remaining stages on our hands, CEC has made a huge mistake removing these shows and it only makes their company plummet from wasting money to remove them.Hicksville opened in January 1994 and remodeled around Mid 2013, it has remained the same since.
