Kinda got sick by the source recording feature. I never thought i'd make something like this before, yet here we are....Before i say anything, i just want to apologize for the lighting glitches through out this video.SFM is a bitch to work with, these lightning errors aren't under my control and i should've made a better scene build.The song i used was made by SOPHIE (Rest In Power😔) and as you can tell this hits hard. The sounds that were used in the song are just out of this world and only SOPHIE can make something like this. This video idea just randomly hit my head and I just made it. I had several mental breakdowns while making this (started this a month ago btw). I wondered if i could push source engine to its limits (i am not sure if i did but i am pretty happy with the results). I had no option but to finish this video and move on cuz i put 100 hours in it and didn't wanted it to be abandoned. I am a pretty amateur animator so this isn't my greatest and perfect work. This isn't exact recreation of the video but I've managed to recreate most part of it, I have added my own twists to it.I made a demo of it and posted it on the half life subreddit a month ago and I've decided to make the full videoYou might find some differences between shots where one part of the same place looks different. That is cuz i had to use half life source maps for sfm and had to record in-game half life clips for the background and later placed the greenscreen character on top of them.I will answer a few questions Q: Why is the video low in quality?A: I assume that was the resolution of the game when it came out back in the day and that is how most people played it back then. It is the lowest resolution available for the gameQ: Why is the audio low in quality?A: That is the default quality (11025 Hz) that goldsrc engine uses to play audio.
