Lori Holt 2025-01-13 | Hello Quilty friends...thanks for being here:)In this episode I show you how I make my 10" Bloom & Grow Quilt Block which is block one in the Riley Blake Designs 2025 Block Challenge.I'm sharing with you one of my very favorite things to do when making quilt blocks...making two different sized blocks and alsochoosing different color placement within the two blocks. I show just how simple it is to get the same block with an easy method!! Decorating my Chunky Thread Yarn Christmas Tree! Lori Holt 2024-12-19 | I've been making some ornaments out of my CHUNKY THREAD Yarn for the Christmas Tree in my Library/Sitting Room:)I did some stars, mittens & pine tree punch needle ornaments, I have done a tutorial on the mittens here on my channel during the Punch Needle Along) and then I made crochet Granny Circle ornaments with a scallop border ...tutorial on them to come later!I also placed my little Granny Square Pillows from my Granny Square Along tutorial on the branches.And last but not least I made an extra long Granny Square Stocking and placed one of my angel dolls inside to top my Chunky Thread Yarn Tree.Tutorial for my stocking will come later here on my channel too!These little ornaments are all that I was able to make this year for my tree but I will definitely be creating additional designs for more ornaments to add to it next year.I took a plethora of photos of my ornaments to show you & I hope that you enjoy my little slide show:)Happy Holidays!!xxLori

Lori Holt 2024-09-21 | In this tenth video for the GRANNY CIRCLE ALONG I show you my finish on another "SQUIRCLES" pillow and show you how to do a ruffle for the edging using the color CHAMOMILE. I am using 100% Cotton Yarn called CHUNKY THREADI used the yarn color CHAMOMILE for every fourth row of the pillow on both sides and then joined them before inserting the pillow form with a single crochet using CHAMOMILE as well. Simply Squares Series - 8 Harvest Quilt Block Tutorial!! Lori Holt 2024-06-13 | Hello and welcome to my sewing room...are you ready to play with squares? (10 blocks across in each row of 12)I will be making 120 blocks for my quilt...3 each of 40 prints from the collection and all 10 of the background prints will be used 12 times each.Because this is a quilt with no sashing or borders or in other words what I like to call a "one block wonder" it is super easy to customize your quilt/runner/pillow to whatever size you would like...YOU are the BOSS of your own quilt!Simply work out the quilty math in 8" measurements to decide the perfect project size for you.
