MickanMans RCT Station Welcome to the fourth episode of the 'Fix My Coaster Layout!' series! This is a collaborative series with Brian Andrelczyk where we independently look at coaster layouts submitted and have our own attempt at improving the submitted layout.

This is a new sort of video for me and comes at the request of the user ‘MissTeaRose’ where it was asked if I would consider putting together a bit of a scenery tutorial – specifically on decorating areas of your park between rides. This is commonly referred to (in the RCT community anyway) as ‘blending’ areas of your park together, typically with the intent to give your park a more cohesive feel.

MickanMans RCT Station 2022-11-17 | Welcome to another coaster building tutorial! It’s been quite some time since we did one of these, and this one comes at the request of the user 'Erestor 95'.

Here we do a 'build-along' style video of a side friction coaster, which is based on one of the first types of rollercoasters. This coaster type can be a little challenging to get right, mainly because it has the potential to fly off the track. In the video I also discuss some characteristics of the coaster type, and its stat requirements.

MickanMans RCT Station 2022-03-10 | Welcome to the sixth episode of the 'Fix My Coaster Layout!' series! This is a collaborative series with Brian Andrelczyk where we independently look at coaster layouts submitted and have our own attempt at improving the submitted layout.

Here we work on our first corkscrew coaster of the series in OpenRCT2 submitted by Nighthawk239. They requested some general feedback on the layout, as well as keeping the synchronisation through the two loops without the trains having to stop on the mid-course brake run and top of the lift hill. This was a technically challenging submission to work on but very happy with the end product!
