Elements of Justice ~ Turnabout Theatre (Case 1) [Ep 1 - Investigation] @AceAttorneyElementsofJustice

Ace Attorney: Elements of Justice CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS APPRECIATED

After years of frustration, self-doubt, delays, and an undying passion, I finally give you the first episode of Elements of Justice! Just letting you guys know, this takes place after Dual destinies and before Spirit of Justice in Ace Attorney, and after Season 4 and before Season 5 of MLP.

Making this fanmade sequel to one of my favorite MLP fanseries, Turnabout Storm, was definitely an adventure for me, and I've learned many things about myself. If I TRULY wanted something to happen, I will stop at nothing to make it happen.

For those of you who don't know, around the end of 2016, my hard drive completely fried, and I lost all files and assets to not just EoJ, but everything all the way back to high school. And to add salt to the wound, I was almost done with EoJ at the time. I learned the hard way to have a back up hard drive. Luckily, I was able to get most of the VA lines I have saved from emails to continue working on it. Unfortunately the one who I couldn't get the lines back was TheGoldCrow, who was the voice of Phoenix in Turnabout Storm, and was Phoenix again in this project. We both knew he would take too long to revoice the lines, due to personal issues, so I had to drop him from the role. Luckily I opened auditions for Phoenix, and picked Julius Gem, who has been very cooperative and so friendly to work with. Along with a new Phoenix VA, I had to remake a lot of the assets to work on EoJ again, which took way too long to work on due to family and school taking most of my time.

After 2 years of hardly making any process, I've decided at 2019, if I don't finish the first episode by the end of 2019, I'm quitting the series. All of a sudden, this fire unleashed in me, and making incredible process. I was barely done the first 2 scenes to finishing the whole video in a few months. I guess at that point, I knew in my heart I truly wanted this series to happen.

The hard drive being fried was also kind of a blessing in disguise. The assets I made back then looks like trash compared to what I can do now, so ultimately, this video is much more polished and visually appealing than what I originally did.

I'm sure most of you are asking, "WHY DONT YOU GET HELP?!"
Mainly because I'm too afraid to ask for help. When I started working on EoJ, I just saw myself as some nobody in the fandom. I'm no big name at all, so I just assumed that I won't get any help in the first place. But with the amount of support and quality I was able to produce, people took notice, and now I realize that if I had gotten help a long time ago, then this series would've been way ahead in the story. You know the episode when Applejack wanted to take care of the entire apple orchard by herself, and refused for help? That's exactly me with EoJ. This is a hard lesson learned for me. I'm definitely going to ask for help a little after this video is out.

With all of these struggles I've went through and you guys painfully waiting, I pray to Celestia that your wait and mine for this episode to finish will be worth it.

I wanna say a quick thing here. During the summer, I lost a very loved cousin of mine, and it was a very hard time during the summer. So I just wanted to give a little memoir down here. Here's what I wrote for him in the note during his funeral:
"Jeremy,

If I had to choose who is the strongest person in the family, it would be you.

Time and time again, you would overcome everything and do whatever you could to live your life, despite your limitations.

Even on your final month, you SURVIVED.

But God had plans for you on your final day.

I hope you have an awesome time in Heaven, and say Hi to Tatang for me!"

To anyone who made it this far, please let your loved ones know that you care, as they could be gone the next day.

Hi everyone! It's time for the second half of the second investigation! The team and I worked even HARDER on this episode than the last one, and it will be VERY apparent when you watch it! We're continuing to learn how we could work more efficiently while also upping the quality! Which admittedly made us go through some hurdles... and some pain and suffering.

Mr G here! We saw how you enjoyed the first BoJ, so I decided to sacrifice my sleep and health to get another episode out! But I could not do it alone – so that is why we hired some PR Writers and they’ve been super stellar in getting these ideas together. Not to mention Jarvy Jared as Planning Lead and all the other amazing people who worked on this episode (READ THE CREDITS PEOPLE!)

Fun Fact: This episode was the initial test script that we tasked the writers to work on. As you can see, the combined efforts of all their creativity come together to form, what I would say at least, is one of the most emotional episodes since…BoJ 1!

We got a new episode in under THREE months!!? Man this episode was totally not the hardest episode to make since...2-3....

Wow we need a break... which we are going to take...for maybe a month x3.

I gotta say! This episode, much like 2-3, had it's own hurdles we all had to go through. But we still pulled through! We were getting new team members at the same time while working on this, and we got an early glimpse on how much they can help with future episodes! We even managed to get this in before January ended, so I'd say we did a good job (I think)!

I gotta admit, there were A LOT of ups and downs during the production of this episode, but you know what, we pulled through, and we are finally ready to show you the first day of trial for Case 2!

Hey everyone! So I remember making an official trailer for EoJ years ago, and I think we all can agree that it's severely outdated. So with the help of the EoJ team, we were able to create a revamped version of the trailer!

I feel that this trailer shows how much the series has grown since it's humble beginnings, not just in terms of the quality, but also how much the MLP and AA communities has grown to support this simple crossover! For those of you who are new to this series, let me explain what this simple series is about.

This story will take place between Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice (Ace Attorney), and between Season 4 and Season 5 (MLP).

The premise of the story: 9 years after being summoned to Equestria, Phoenix Wright, along with Athena Cykes, Apollo Justice, and Trucy Wright, have been summoned to Equestria again. Twilight Sparkle, now an alicorn with the title, Princess of Friendship, was the one who summoned them, because murder is happening in Equestria again. Phoenix and his friends will join Twilight and her friends as they defend the innocent ponies who were framed, and try to solve the mystery of why more and more murders have been occurring in the land of Equestria. Could it be a coincidence, or is there a dark entity looming around these murders?

So as you can see, this didn't take NEARLY as long to make as Eps 1 and 2. But HOLY HELL, the production for this episode was just an absolute CLUSTERFLABBLEGASTER! But you know what, the fact that Case 1 is actually finished, it kinda makes all the pain worth it.

BIG SHOUTOUTS to the new editors added to the team for GREATLY helping us get the whole thing together at a much faster rate!

The EoJ team is just a blast to be around, and I cannot wait to have the team be even bigger!

Now assuming you watched the ENTIRE EPISODE, I can already tell you're excited for what we have in store for the rest of the series! And just letting you know, Case 2 is MILES (Edgeworth) better than Case 1 ever was, EVEN with the rewrite! So yeah, expect better things in the future!

With that said, yes, we will need MORE VAs and more team members for EoJ! We will post an update video on this in the near future to explain the details.

We did it guys! We managed to make another episode of Elements of Justice! After years of frustration for making the first episode, I've swallowed my pride and decided to get help from other people to help work on the rest of the series. Bringing this team together and getting to know them has been a blast!

This episode actually could've potentially been finished sooner, but after heated debate from my writers, specifically Serenity, we decided that we were going to rewrite Case 1's trial. While it was a bummer at the time that it would mean taking longer to get the next episode out, the rewrite was at a MUCH higher quality than the original script's. So I think you guys will appreciate the extra time to work on this!

Honestly, the transition from working on EoJ by myself to having an entire team was very bumpy, but I think over time we will get find our own synergy, and possibly get to a point where we could finish a case or two! So to the team of EoJ, thank you guys so much for helping me! And thank all of you for sticking with me with this series!

Hello everyone! What you are watching is the teaser trailer for a new series in the works! This is the unofficial sequel to Turnabout Storm, called Elements of Justice!

Taking place after Season 4 of MLP and Dual Destinies of AA, Phoenix is returning to Equestria to take on more cases. Unlike Turnabout Storm, there will be 5 cases in this series. Each case will be more difficult than the last, to help make this series feel like how it would be if it was structured like the Phoenix Wright games.
