In our final part 9, we will then show you how we finished the base on the Ultrasmurf - as always, all good things must come to an end :)

Part 7 - Shoulderpads
We have received a LOT of messages asking for more explanation on how to paint circular highlights using Layers and Glazes. So for this part we have decided to not speed-up and/or cut some of the areas that we might have fast-forwarded otherwise.
You'll see that glazes are almost magical as Ben shows you in detail how to create circular/oval highlights on the shoulder pads.
We hope you enjoyed this episode - 2 more parts and our Ultramarine is ready :)

Leather is one of the most fun things to paint in miniature painting - and today Ben will show you how he paints the dark leather on the arm. The dark leather he paints in this part is different from the blouse and the Belt as Ben uses inks and washes only and then pushes the shadows with some contrasting glazes.

The dark leather he paints in this part is different from the blouse as Ben uses scratches and textures to make it look more realistic. Still very easy yet ruthlessly efficient.

We got a message asking whether there was only one part available... And there was. But there should have been moar! :D
So to make up for it, we decided to upload all the missing parts in the next two days, starting with part 1 and part 2. IN FULL 1080p.
Enjoy watching Slayer Sword Winner Matt Cexwish as he starts work on his Cygnar Warjack - he'll use the airbrush to work on the foundation for the blue armor. Check it out ;)
This series is a little out of the norm as we are using some basic airbrush-techniques alongside traditional painting techniques.

This part is pretty long - for many reasons. Ben shows you how to quickly create blendings using a wet-in-wet-technique followed by adding details in all the right places. We are sure you are going to enjoy this video ;)

This is a good repitition of some NMM gold techniques and the little OSL effect will open your eyes for how simple OSL really is ;)

This episode contains a LOT of tips about using the loaded brush for glazes and glazes in general. Also, while the recipe of our NMM gold still remains the same, we are introducing textures like woven gold to the cloak - very simple, very Khul.

In Part 6 of our series we continue our work on the Age of Sigmar Mighty Lord of Chaos, Korghos Khul and his dog The Gang.
As you will see in this tutorial, Korghos' Axe is really, really khul. Ben and Jack will walk you through the process of painting something as intricate as his axe step-by-step - and you'll see that while it may take a little time to finish the many surfaces of this axe, the technique is quite easy to follow. We hope you enjoy this episode!
