A YouTube Poop by Arbiter 617 of Tempus Maximus, a Halo Reach Machinima.
Padme wants to die, Obi Wan goes into the recordings to only find pain, and Anakin's so in love.
Enjoy this stupid Star Was YouTube poop created by Arbiter 617.
How to lower your weapons tutorial in Halo 2 Anniversary!
Hold down:

In a second you should hear a weapon noise and your weapon should disappear from your point of view. You can check your shadow to make sure it's working.
It doesn't seem to work well with certain weapons (carbine), and with crouching can also look bad.
This was also a test to make some video in MCC, in which I ran into a few issues with framerate.
This is probably the only time I will ever use the phrase "thrown together" to describe the process of making one of our videos. We literally threw this together on Sunday, wanting to have all our goodbye's on record for the future.
Black Plasma Studios as a machinima industry will still continue to spend plenty of time on Reach. We have projects to finish, stories to tell.
Enjoy Halo 4!
The official trailer for Black Plasma Studio's "Tempus Maximus", coming to Youtube early February.
Three units are sent to replace a missing crew at site Tempus Maximus on one of the outer Halo installations. The reason for their replacement remains unknown, yet they must follow the commands of the officer Clay to remain alive on this dangerous land.
The crew must monitor the crashed remains of a forerunner ship, housing what is believed to be a portal.
However they are not alone.
A teaser to the upcoming Halo Reach machinima: Project Underworld.
Set four years after Project Middleground, a new team is investigating the mysterious realm which can be seen through dreams of those who have connected to Middleground.
The song is something I wrote specifically for this teaser, using the same chord progression I wrote for Project Middleground. Also, note that I'm not showing a lot of footage to avoid larger spoilers. ;)

Sometimes the trailer doesn't do the full film justice; this is one of those times. Hope you enjoyed it enough anyway.

Trailer to the upcoming Halo machinima: PROJECT Containment.
Taking place after the events of PROJECT Underworld, someone has manipulated the system from within. Andrew Saxon must enter Middleground to investigate the disturbance.
A lot was left out of this trailer to avoid any spoilers, but we hope it excites you nonetheless!

A specialized UNSC soldier, from the Hunter Program established to hunt and destroy specific threats, meets with a group of Spartans pursuing the same goal.
They must work together in this frozen tundra to find and track down a rogue elite.
This movie takes to machinima a new and unique style in which the entire video takes place from the Hunter's build in helmet-cam. As a sequel to Hunter, this video has taken improvements to a whole new level involving a stronger story, better characters, and unique effects.
Prepare to witness the last transmission of Hunter Unit E617.

We made this after filming Battle of New Orleans. Took an hour and 27 minutes, but a lot of the time we were just playing around. Made for some nice gameplay footage.

Five years... five long years.
Thanks everyone who was in any way involved. ;)
In no way were these clips supposed to accurately summarize their respective movies. Huge chunks were left out of many of the videos like the Rise of the Spartans parts. I cut almost half an hour straight out of six and seven.
Yesterday I went around and dug up all my old saved films in reach, decided to record them all and make another CCFV out of them, also found my old ODST an Halo 2 clip that I had saved randomly to my harddrive.
Spent a lot of the day working on the first four minutes of music to this video.
Sorry for the overall sloppy presentation of this. This wasn't meant to be anything special, I was just getting tons and tons of people asking me what I plan on doing next, so I wanted to just say it to everyone at once.

Procyon Sytstem, Arcadia, 2531.
The outer colony of Arcadia is being sieged by a Covenant Fleet, causing the UNSC survivors to flee the large cities and seek refuge out in the desert to regroup in order to organize for an attempt to allow further evacuation of the planet. However, no where is safe.
Covenant scouts find Alpha Base, and War is just over the horizon.
Created by Black Plasma Studios.
This scene was deleted and replaced with a much smaller scene due to time restraints, and strikingly similarities in the voices of the cone and Jack, who were non coincidentally voiced by...the same actor.
I really liked this scene though. I had this planned since Cone Combat 1.
This is the first part of my montage. It includes lots of kills with mostly snipes and sticks. There are alot of splatters with the ghost too, and some of the best kills. None of these were set up!
Alpha Base has fallen under control by the Covenant forces, and the survivors of the attack are now prisoners of war. But fate offers its reward.

====Additional Thanks====
Thanks everyone for being patient, this movie took a very long time to make, I just hope it was worth it and you were able to enjoy it.
I really want to thank the other machinima directors of the world, near the end I started searching youtube and enjoying watching other movies, such as The Forgotten Spartans and Halo Pandemic.
Big thanks to RogueHawkClanStudios. Everytime I watch your videos I understand that it is possible to make great movies and I feel like working again.
Thanks to Black Shard Production for coming back and finishing the Pandemic series, even if it was criticized. The way you worked so hard at the end motivated me to work even harder, and allowed me to finish this epic movie by it's due date.
Above all, I have to thank the viewers who took their time to watch, and hopefully enjoy this movie. As you know, I spent a very long time trying to make this as enjoyable and flawless as possible, retaking every lag scene I could, and working on the special effects.
I think what you really have to realize about this movie, is it's fun. It's not a serious story with a deep plot and evil villians and surprising twists. It's just one large epic war to watch and enjoy, which I really hope you did.
=D
Thanks for watching!! At one point, I considered dedicating this video to "The Viewers Who Got Through all 31 Minutes of this Movie"
====The Purple Elite====
A full Combat purple elite makes an appearance in Part 1 and 2, yet I didn't find a good time to add him into Part 3 sorry.
This game was added during Halo Pizza Delivery as a bonus game to the viewers, and I've kept it every since.
Arbiter 617's epic Warthog Montage! Includes tons of splatters, double splatters, VIP splatters, turret overkills, turret killtaculars, and turret invicables. We still have alot of work to go before a killionare.

Thank you Bungie for accepting this Montage to the Bungie Blog!!
This is the second part of my montage. It includes lots of kills with mostly snipes and sticks. There are alot of splatters with the ghost too, and some of the best kills. None of these were set up!
After the first attack from the Covenant, the UNSC are preparing for a follow up assault, and arming every soldier they have left. Massive action, big explosions, lots of gun, one epic War.

=====Interesting Facts=====
War took 6 months and 14 days from the confirming of the movie to release date.
We used a total of 60 different actors, plus a few guests.
There were a total of 467 clips recorded.
The combined total footage for War is 5 hours 43 minutes and 33 seconds long, and takes 7.1GB (alot for 480p).
It is finally released!
Unfortunately, I had to take all the FUN out of FUN video. Well I didn't take it out, I just didn't put it in. And instead of waiting until War is finished to release this, I thought I'd just post it as is. Hope you enjoy!

Standbying is a trick that some gamers like to use, in which the gamer presses a "standby" button on his or her modem, making all other players connected to his or her game go into a black screen (on Halo it would bring you to the black screen with the plyer list). The person who is standbying yet continues to play the game, just with lag, but now with no enemies.
This trick is very cheating and I made this video to show what happens when you Standby.
Let me also give a big thanks to The Matrix for supplying me with sound, music, and ideas.
Thanks for watching!
This is just a Halo version of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air written by Will Smith.
This movie was made by me when I tried testing Halo 2's machinima compatibility, which you can see failed, so after the end of the song I showed a "Failing Sequence"
This video uses scenes from Terminator 2 at the end.

I made this to get rid of a bunch of extremely old files I had cluttering my Video Clip folder. Trying to organize things out.

ATTENTION: This is a test video! I am just testing some things, I was seeing if I could get the cruisers into Halo 3 maps like Last Resort. Ultimately it failed, because the cruisers were far to red from the glare of the sun. Then I tested the door opening into the movie, which was pretty cool, apart from the cropping I messed up.
Hope you like these scenes anyway!

This is a scene from War: Attack on Arcadia. This is obviously not the final product, as you can see the poorly sharpened lines along the edge. It also shows a few scenes from other parts in the movie, just to get you pumped for the final release.
Song: Electronic Love - DJ Splash
Added the sound to an epic Halo UAV flyover.
You will need Sony Vegas for the tutorial.
=====TUTORIAL=====
1) Stock footage- To get the UAV effect, you're going to have to make sure your camera always moves in a continuous fluid motion, like a UAV flying straight over. To do this, I stood on top of a Hornet which flew by the scene, allowing my viewing to move freely without affecting the overall movement of the camera.
2) Effects- I applied a minor TV simulator to the footage, then added two tracks above, filled one with Media Generators, Color Gradient, Elliptical Transparent to Black, and adjusted it to kind of make a blurred area along the edge of the screen, for more of a camera perspective.
3) HUD- My HUD is just the Halo binoculars, but you can make a much more elaborate one with the time. I'm just going to explain how to get mine. I went to Avalanche and stared at one of those exceedingly bright white shield doors, then chroma-keyed the whiteness out, and blurred the edges to my liking.
4) Trackers- And now to the little tracker thingies. Begin by making a Media Generators, Solid Color, Magenta (because it's awesome) and set the opacity down to 0%. Apply a Border FX to that clip, and give it enough to notice it. You can adjust it later. Have the clip start the moment the object of interest comes into view, and end about a second after it disappears. Literally a second.
5) Tracker Movement- Now on the left side of the track with your border you're going to see a little white square, with a purple arrow in it, called Track Motion. Click that. If you know how to use track motion, skip down to the word pickles. A window opens with a grid of dots, and a big square with a circle in it. Clicking and dragging in and outwards on the corner of the square will resize this track. As you notice, you when your shrink the track, the border now becomes a cool usable box. By clicking and dragging on the interior of the box, you can relocate the box to wherever you want. PICKLES. Now using the slider on the bottom of the Track Motion window, it's on the left of that mini-timeline, slide to the point about a second after the object of interest comes into view, and create a keyframe by clicking on the blue diamond with a plus in it. Then create another keyframe at the moment the object dissappears off screen.
6) Tracker Keyframing- Now click on the first keyframe, and adjust the square size and location so the border appears right around the object of interest (watch the Video preview as you move it). Do the same for the second keyframe. Now you're going to notice that the border moves from the first position and size to the second. However we don't want it like that. Depending on what you are tracking, like a mortar shot, or an airfield, you're going to evenly distribute a bunch of keyframes (by adding them into that mini-timeline) between the two you already have set up. I usually make it about 1 second apart for larger slow objects, and down to a quarter of a second for quick-moving things.
7) The Tedious Stage- Now you're going to have to one-by-one select each keyframe and adjust the border to the position and size of your object at that moment. Once you're done you will notice the border nicely follows your object, or maybe not. Onto the next step.
8) Editing the Keyframes- You can right click on the keyframes and edit their purpose. I usually make all of mine smooth, so when it reaches a keyframe it doesn't suddenly change direction, but slowly adjusts. Sharp also looks good for tracking missiles and stuff flying all over the place.
9) Final keyframes- Now we still have the second of object on the screen with no keyframes, and the second after it leaves without. Place a keyframe at the very beginning and end of the border clip, and make the size of the border much bigger. Now when the object comes onto view you will see the box kind of shrink down to fit the size of the object, and at the end it will open back up. If you did it right the box will even start shrinking and opening up where the object begins and ends.
10) Fade your border clip in, where it comes to 100% opacity as the border shrinks to fit the object, and begin fading out as soon as the border begins opening back up. If you don't understand just watch my video again.
11) There is no eleven, you're done, yay! Now of course you can do that for a lot of different things, change the color of your border now, and the size of it. I make two for some objects. A primary tracker which moves very fast and focuses, and a larger one outside that moves a bit slower. You can have fun doing whatever fits you best!
This is just a teaser ofcourse... just an announcement. It's coming.
Title says all. This was a extra-credit school project for Mr.Allen's AP US History class.
Contains some Minecraft, and the rest is mostly live-action.
Yes.
This occurred to me the other day on Gruntapocalypse. Absolutely no clue what happened. See for yourself.

The teaser trailer to Zealot, A Halo Reach Machinima.
This is our first machinima in Reach, so cut us some slack. The reason for the Teaser, is that there are delays in the production, the first being a school project that requires a video, so that will come first, and the other being a contest in which we will be creating the Cone Combat sequel. So once those two are done you can watch Zealot!

Sub Zero Notes:
A total of 737 clips were recorded, allotting to a total of 5 hours, 39 minutes, and 43 seconds. The files totaled 6.495GB. The final product was reduced to a total of 43 minutes and 3 seconds.
Part 1 seemed better in my head, but I think came out a bit worse. I did get some nice panoramic shots of Halo 3 though.
Basically, "Thanks" is describing that this week is our anniversary week, and we will upload a video each day until our actual anniversary on the 8th.
This also serves as a minor thanks to everyone who has helped us get this far.
Don't worry, the other parts will be much better.
This is a Live mock filming session. All the actors believed they were filming an actual movie, when in reality I was just recording an example of how I film to help you guys see how I do things.
Hope it helps a bit.

The first part, which Rorschach, Kyler and I attempt to sensibly talk about the BPS future.
Hope it helps a bit. We are now three years old.
