The first episode of Brawl of the Objects, YEAH! I've realized how long it takes to animate now, it's not as easy as it may seem. I'm happy with the outcome of this episode, but I'd love some feedback! :D Like, what could I improve or do less of? Also, if you're gonna' give me feedback, please don't be rude about it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS! As I said in the video, this was actually a school assignment, but I made it BOTO-themed so I could make something fun for you guys to watch! Was super proud of how it came out; idk if we'll ever see Gareth animated in this style again but who knows lol

As for BOTO 14, like I said at the end of the vid, I've been restarting the animation. For those who don't already know, my laptop crashed over the summer and I lost all my files with the new BOTO 14 assets. After a long time working, though, I'm happy to say I've recovered the old assets by hand, so I can finally animate again! Since I'm back to square one with the animation, plus I'm scared of what college is going to throw at me next semester, I can't guarantee a release date right now. I'll update on Twitter + the Community tab with more updates when I have them, but I promise I'm gonna be working hard at it whenever I can! I'm still really excited for this next episode, thanks to everyone for being so patient!!

Hey guys!! So yes it's true, I'm deciding to make another episode of BOTO for y'all! Though this is only a little 40-second preview, it'll be a full-length episode with all the BOTO gang sharing what happens AFTER the finale ends! To go with the time-skip I also decided to update the overall look of the show to make it look more professional.

While it's still early in production, I'm still looking forward to making a whole new episode with the BOTO gang, showing their growth (or lack thereof, in certain cases) over the span of the past 2 years!

So for a little backstory on this one, Trans Awareness day had just passed earlier this year and I was curious to see if there were any songs with the trans struggle as the focus? I was sad to not find much coming up in my search, plus my trans friends couldn't really name any songs where it was the central idea. Since I write songs, I decided I wanted to write one of my own! I made sure to consult one of my trans friends to help review my lyrics, since I want to represent y'all well.

Trans or not, I hope you guys like this one! Everything was recorded just last night so for that I'm really happy with this demo :)

Anko6theAnimator 2018-11-27 | sorry this isn’t what I hoped I’d be posting next after 2 months of not doing anything, more stuff will be coming soon. As soon as I heard the news I just had to do this, Spongebob was my greatest inspiration growing up and it’s honestly the reason I wanted to get into animation school from the start. No show’s ever going to be like the one Hillenburg created.
I hope I did this song justice, it’s Gary’s Song from the Where’s Gary? episode. hands down it’s the most beautiful song to ever come out of the series. Again sorry for going quiet, been real busy lately. didn’t have time to make anything more than a little uke cover of this tune but I hope it serves.

A LOT of work went into this one. But now it's done. Oh my god it's done. And I juts hope it's all I wanted it to be for you guys.
I did my best to make reference to every BOTO episode in this one, and tie the loose ends with the important background characters. Overall I just wanted to give you guys a sense of finality with this one, as it is the end of the series. I'm happy to end it here, as I don't feel Brawl of the Objects would feel the same anymore if it were continued beyond this point. Still, it was all fun while it lasted, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to entertain you all with my childhood characters.

So I got home and decided I'd record a video - this all happened pretty spontaneously, haha. I didn't have as many ideas for instrumentation for this song as I only wrote this recently, so I kept it to piano.

If you haven't kept up with my recent videos, I've been working hard on multiple projects (BOTO, my album, college applications, etc) recently, which means I'm kicking it into high gear, but I've also got less time to work on BOTO 13 individually. I still feel bad for taking so long to get the finale out, and I'm sorry this isn't it just yet. Still, I thought I may as well post a silly little short as a thank you for all of those who are still waiting so patiently for the finale.

Thought I'd be a little experimental and take a week to make and post a little something while you're all waiting for BOTO 13! (No, it hasn't been cancelled; it's still in the works!)
I tried to have this ready in time for Christmas, but unfortunately I encountered multiple exporting difficulties with Flash. I finally got some help and it worked out in the end.

No matter what holiday you celebrate, though, I hope they were happy for everyone. To all the little peeps out there - stay strong, my friends! :)

Regarding the Shortening of BOTO

WHOO, that was fast! As you all can see, this is a shorter episode; I intend to keep the next and last episode on the shorter side as well, as I want to finish Brawl of the Objects sooner rather than later. I will post a video further explaining why I am shortening Brawl of the Objects soon.
I also wanted to try and be more experimental with the content and with the formula of this episode - as you can see, I've made an attempt to incorporate some horror and some frame-by-frame animation during Rook's flashback sequence. In addition, I'm also experimenting with FruityLoops (a music program) - I mixed the limbo music after the credits, myself! I hope to create more of my own, more original music in future animations.
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy this episode, regardless of its shorter length!

Once again, we say goodbye to one of the players, leaving us with BOTO's final 7. In the proceeding challenge, contestants have to make dishes out of whatever they are able to find, then serve their food to the three guest judges (i.e. the guest star fan art contest winners). Contestants face unexpected odds when trying to find their food, while also fighting to beat the clock. Whose dish will the judges favor? Who will move on to the final 6? Or... will there be another unexpected twist? Find out in this new installment of Brawl of the Objects! :D

This took forever - my apologies for this, everyone. The reasons were, admittedly, mostly due to procrastination, but more recently I have regained my drive to finish the series. I sincerely hope to finish Brawl of the Objects in due time.
On a separate note, though - hey, I'm working with Flash, now! You may notice, however, that some of the animation in this episode isn't so good in comparison to some of the other scenes. This is because, with me animating this over a span of about 2 years, the animation was done from when I was first learning how to use Flash to today. In addition, my understanding of animation has also developed since I began animating this episode, so if you see a poorly-done shot sandwiched between two shots that seem more refined, this is likely why.
I'm happy to finally be able to release this to you all, though! I hope that you like it, and stay tuned for episode 12, which I will be working on as soon as the voting is over.

Really, the reasons why BOTO 11 has taken so long to release is school and lack of motivation, for the most part. I have been working to sort these out, however, and I am proud to say that BOTO 11 shall be completed sometime this month! While I can't give a specific date, I can say that there will be no more delays. :)
The quality of this video isn't exactly what I had in mind; while animating with Flash has REALLY improved the quality of the animation, I'm still stuck with using Movie Maker to edit until I can sort out how to export with this other program I'm trying to use. Hopefully the colours will come out better when I figure out how to export there...!
Anyhow, sorry for such a big wait, but BOTO episode 11 is definitely going to be coming out soon, so stay tuned!
