Throw Some Lawl Z Character Moveset - Connie (Cryptoland) Hammer Man 2024-04-01 | Post Anniversary Era - 29th MovesetAs the founder of Cryptoland, Connie brings in thousands of crypto-obsessed geeks to his luxury island in the hopes that they'll relax and get caught up in the surroundings so they don't think about what's really going on. This works for many visitors, but when the Sheriff of Nottingham makes a visit to his favorite vacation spot, things at Cryptoland seem great at first but then slowly take a turn for the worse as he notices more unusual things with the island, getting reminded about some past memories involving his allies...It took around two years from conception for this to be fully realized, but I am thrilled to finally get the final product behind what started off as an in-joke with the TSLZ production off the ground! The Cryptoland animation always had a so bad it's good quality to me with many aspects ranging from the uncanny animation and stolen assets to the mere reason for its existence playing a factor into that opinion. Connie was a unique fighter to write up, mainly because of the main gimmick of the Cryptometer which we utilized, which was designed to help either help or hinder anyone who mains him depending on how well they know to work with it and develop strategies for it. I think the main challenge of the set was making sure the set was viable (and for a crypto/NFT character of all things), and at least to give players some reason to play as Connie over other fighters. Lawl Zero Character Moveset - Luxo Jr. (Pixar Shorts) Hammer Man 2023-07-21 | Merger Era - 25th MovesetLuxo Jr. has been known to explore the world around, chasing after bouncing balls and looking up to his father among other things, enjoying every minute of his playtime. This normal life would soon be interrupted when Luxo accidentally jumped onto a button which would lead him to the Ghost Planet studio and a path to a fighting competition, one unlike anything he had ever seen. Now, he brings his fun and games to the competition of Lawl….Well, this marks the halfway point of getting the last OG Lawl Zero roster characters done, and this one was an interesting one to work on mainly due to utilizing Pixar's early shorts (and a couple of their other early works) as the main inspiration for Luxo's moves.
