This should be a well-thought-out and fully featured vPub to celebrate a not insignificant anniversary. But it isn’t. I was blind-sided a little and had to pile all available resources into finding solutions. Yet, I realise I’m not too worried about the vPub.
All we need to mark this are faces, glasses and whisky!
So join me and we’ll raise a glass to the things that have changed in whisky over the eight years. The moments, the friendships and the drams along the way. We’ll attempt to have as many people online at the exact same moment raising the exact same glass together. For this we’ll obviously use the Glasgow 1770 Aqvavitae bottling which was bottled for this very purpose. But, should you not have it on hand - usual rules apply and anything goes!
Come along and join me and some very familiar vPub-thjemed faces as we mark our personal whisky moments over the years and consider how things have changed for us and whisky itself.
Oh, and I’ll share that thing that’s given me a major headache in the last two weeks. We have solutions in the works…
