☆Blessed~2~Dance: Closer {Freestyle Message} Blessed2Dance4God 2013-11-14 | ☆Blessed~2~Dance: "Closer"This is a freestyle dance video 2 the song "Closer" by Shawn McDonald. The song uses a contemporary musical format 2 describe the feeling of being lost or feeling aimless in our day-2-day lives. It seemingly covers semi-familiar territory but does it in such a uniquely effective way that I loved the idea of sharing with all of you who might be watching. The dancing displayed through the heart of yours truly is an effort 2 further illustrate this scenario. The filming of this video was truly a joy and I pray you have received the full impact of its message & intention.**What I believe the song 2 be ultimately trying 2 explain, is cautioning us against looking for the right things or wanting the right things out of life, but searching in all of the wrong places or tapping the wrong sources. Just like Christ makes clear 2 us in the Bible that 'bad trees cannot bear good fruit' and likewise that good roots and good trees cannot ultimately bear bad fruit.. (however this does NOT mean if we are in good roots that every single thing will go 'our way' from a worldly perspective). What we need 2 take away from this scripture, and try 2 always keep with us, is that if we are truly after God's glory & righteousness and the deep fulfillment He intended for us, we MUST call on Him 2 help us cut down the 'bad trees' in our lives. This is not because we must obey a petty list of do's & dont's in order for God 2 love us, but it's about cultivating our entire foundation because we WANT 2 in order 2 show Him our love and being who we were divinely designed 2 be.. (both in the Kingdom and here on earth).***Something else I think is crucial 2 share with you is that we don't make beautiful gardens only by -removing- what is bad or unwanted, but also by +adding+ what is good and righteously desired. . And one way we can do this is by doing things DIFFERENTLY throughout our day that we might not normally do, even if they are small things. Like the famous quote says; "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing(s) and expecting a different result" ..so we must enable the basic invisible laws of physics 2 work on our behalf, and be willing 2 take (healthy) risks & do things differently. We must also *sincerely* evaluate not only where our actions steer us throughout the day, but just as importantly, where our minds are wandering & marinating... like Christ explains 2 us in a brilliantly simple 'reflecting/mirror' type of way; "for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also". Lastly, (and massively important) upon this self-evaluating that we choose 2 undertake, we cannot be concerned with the thoughts, actions, opinions, & life-format of others, or what is considered 2 be 'normal' in today's deviated culture.. we must engage our own spiritual backbone and strive after what we know is good & holy, and what it is we truly desire for our lives 2 look like in the Kingdom of the endlessly loving & merciful Most High God!! Something wonderfully encouraging I love 2 stay reminded of (especially anytime I feel overwhelmed) is that; life is simply a series of free-will decisions, one day and one choice at a time.~As always I am overjoyed 2 thank God for the blessed opportunity 2 dance and for all that He is that I cannot even fully comprehend. God does not always resolve things exactly in our way or in our time, but He undoubtedly knows what is best and it's our duty as His children 2 find the blessings He continually provides 2 us within each situation. Committing our lives 2 God is not so that we can get everything we want when we want, it is so we can carry out the privilege of serving the most beautiful force in the world and helping 2 bring others closer 2 that same love. Some of His resolutions are obviously much easier 2 see & receive, and some can be very painfully difficult 2 understand & experience, but they are *always* correct if we allow them 2 be. Remember, true resolution is only provided when we choose 2 faithfully seek Him, it does not come by just simply existing or chasing empty pleasures. Worldly pleasures never satisfy long-term (no matter how much the world tries 2 clownishly promote the idea that they do) ..only in the "secret dwelling place of the Most High" do we find deep, joyful, productive, & contagious fulfillment.I know there are SO many genuinely difficult times that alot of us go through (as well as some that we -allow- 2 be more difficult & troubling than they really are) in either case we MUST realize God has given 2 us the unequivocal power of free-will that was designed 2 be connected into Him in order 2 produce all things for the greater good of Him & those who love Him. This is a morbidly dark world we are living in with the battle of spiritual forces at an all-time high and His presence in every situation is not automatic or a given, but it is overwhelmingly evident when He is *deeply* called upon! ..Rest assured there IS light after the dark for those who fight the good fight of faith! - Regardless of your situation I hope this message/project has helped you 2 see more clearly the universal/indisputable TRUTH of GOD ALMIGHTY who cannot be denied, and who will never deny no matter who you are, what you're doing, or how troubling your circumstances..
