For my second of today’s three DS Sunday features, I am honoured to present the new Victorian Specter release, The Elegance of Vestigia.
Available in digital format now, Phantom Lure will be releasing physical editions later this year, and it is an album that will be worth owning and playing in its corporeal form to better experience the profound majesty and moving emotive qualities of its tangible, yet ghostly, presence.
A concept album about Moina Mathers and The Golden Dawn. Each track of this album functions as an esoteric dungeon synth incantation, rejecting passive listening in favour of a grand metaphysical architecture. The compositions blend Victorian atmosphere with majestic, sweeping melodies to pull you straight into a hidden subterranean sanctuary. Step past the veil, let the occult synth rituals unfold, and experience the vast, immersive scope of the unseen.
