Vectrex repair video on an unusual problem with a shrinking screen and high voltage noises that I've never seen documented. It's not exactly a step by step though. I'm assuming you have a Test Cart (not strictly needed though but super helpful) and the Service Manual and some other basic equipment before you get started.
