DIY Dollhouse Furniture Glam Fireplace from a Dollar Tree Picture Frame Real Life Dollhouse Miniatures 2019-01-21 | A few updates. I moved (again). Now I'm in Ocala, Florida. I'm about an hour and a half from Orlando. I can see weekend trips to Epcot in my future. The 3rd bedroom in my home will become a devoted craft room. This is the first time I've had a full craft room, so I'm excited. For now, its wildly unorganized and all of my things are in boxes and the room is underfurnished. My brother visited over Christmas and bought with him the miniatures I made when I lived in Texas 2 years ago. I'm not sure if they survived being stored for that long though. A dollhouse I made when I was 12 years old makes a brief cameo in this video. It is not ready for a tour since it is in very bad shape. I recovered some small dollhouses I had in storage, but they all need makeovers...not this year...I need a plan for them first. The water beads expand rapidly with the addition of water and continue to expand as they soak. Leave room at the top of your container to allow for this. Dollar Tree to Luxury Miniature Furniture Makeover DIY Contemporary Bathroom Vessel Sink Real Life Dollhouse Miniatures 2018-06-25 | Hey guys! This is the 5th and final edition of my Dollar Tree desk makeover series. To create this look, I used 1 popsicle stick,5 wooden coffee stir sticks, 4 matchsticks, 2 pairs of chopsticks, and a travel bottle or water bottle. For the hardware, I used a scrap from a coffee stir stick, 2 Q-Tips, a pill capsule, and a small drinking straw. I used wood glue throughout the tutorial but I do use a tad bit of e 6000 on the hardware.I removed a lot of pieces from this so its almost unrecognizable as the original Dollar Tree desk and I also added a lot of pieces. Because of the amount of changes and detail, this video is longer than the other pieces I have made in this series. Working on a recap video today...hopefully it will be up tonight.

To create this look, I used 6 popsicle sticks and 3 wooden coffee stir sticks, For the hardware, I used scraps from the coffee stir sticks and 7 jump rings. I used wood glue throughout the tutorial but I do use a tad bit of super glue on the hardware to adhere the jumprings to the wood. This was the easiest of all of these so far since I only added some drawers and the hutch. I knocked it out yesterday afternoon and still had time to edit the video before bedtime. This is a pretty easy project...its fast too, but the drying can take a little extra time. I'm going to start listing the materials and approximate price of them too. I'm also listing locations of where I found what I used if I buy something new or unusual, but I never shop anywhere special for my materials...just Michaels, Hobby Lobby, WalMart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Ebay, and Amazon. Oh, and most fabric I buy are old clothes or pillows from Goodwill, Salvation Army, and Habitat for Humanity ReStores. I'm using:6mm jumprings $2 Michaels super glue gel $3 Michaels epoxy adhesive $2 Dollar General gold enamel paint $2 MichaelsFurry cat toy $2 Dollar GeneralIf this is just a piece for display and decoration, you can use the superglue, but for actual use to hold a doll or to move around the superglue will not hold it, that is why I added the epoxy adhesive. Please allow the superglue to dry for about an hour before adding the epoxy. Allow the epoxy to dry for 20 minutes before adding the enamel. Allow the enamel to dry overnight.

I completed this video at Thanksgiving and I had just gotten my voice back. Notes about the video: I'm using the plastic poster frame my son broke a few months ago when we first moved. I've had it for years, but it was purchased at Wal Mart, and I'm pretty sure it was this one. walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-16x20-Basic-Poster-and-Picture-Frame-Black/42247802Use sharp scissors to cut to minimize cracking, but the resin will fill in and cover small cracks and scratches. If you wish to use plastic packaging, just use 2 thin coats of resin on the plastic pieces instead of 1, allowing the resin to partially cure between coats. At the very end of the video is a clip that I did not notice until after publishing. Its not a blooper, just a bit of film that I used in the video that I hadn't muted. My 4 year old is singing London Bridge on it. I just decided to leave it instead of republishing because he can be thoroughly embarrassed by it in another 2-3 years.

Easy DIY Patio Set Dollhouse Miniature Furniture Real Life Dollhouse Miniatures 2017-06-12 | Hi guys! This tutorial is easy and I'm not even using solder for it. I'm using super glue to attach the metal...and while its not the most secure fit for a doll to sit in, it is perfect for collectibles. I will be soldering in the future but I'm out of flex. :-( I'm using glass for my table topper, but plastic packaging will also work. Also, I filmed the topiary in the photographs. It will be shown in a future video.
