All FTL travel requires Qiyou, and the Qiyou must flow. The Hunger TheoristWero2022-08-15 | This presentation focuses on the design process and creation of an online puzzle hunt game made for a large tech company to help train their staff. We purposefully created moral and ethical quandaries that players needed to address within the game. Like Alternate Reality Game (ARG), this game took players around the internet to custom sites and videos, plus the occasional game made in Unity. To make this game work we had to ensure that everything made sense to players who were working remotely on Teams. This presentation explains the game, the design process, and how we delivered the content to players. It concludes with lessons we learned like the overuse of videos and the technical limitations we didn't expect but had to work around. The premise of the game was an AI decided to "solve" a growing food crisis. Players had to make key decisions about what the AI ought to do, which meant that every run of the game concluded in different ways.Keep Your Distance TrailerWero2020-04-23 | You can't actually get this on mobile, it got rejected by Apple and Google. It's more than just an endless runner: you can virtually stay home and relax!
The game is divided into two parts: the endless runner and a stay at home scene. Gameplay is predictable for the endless runner since it works well with the theme of keeping away from things. The other part takes place in the home in which the player can look outside or watch the TV.
Relax or endlessly stroll to the soothing sounds created by Monplaisir.
We are living in unprecedented times and Keep Your Distance was created to help convey the simple idea of physical distance to slow the spread of illness. To be effective we need people everywhere to adopt public health precautions, act in solidarity, and prevent the spread of misinformation.
We can all help prevent the spread of diseases through simple personal hygiene measures. The UN has identified four areas of focus. 1. Hand washing 2. Reduce face touching 3. Respiratory hygiene 4. Staying home
Maintain physical distancing Maintain at least 2 metres (6 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain the virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including a virus if the person coughing has the disease. Also danger of surface contamination - hence importance of personal hygiene. Where advised, stay home and avoid gathering in groups or with people who may be more vulnerable such as the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.Gameplay of Keep Your DistanceWero2020-04-19 | Raw gameplay footage of Keep Your Distance version 1.1.1.
