For the record, characters are separate leaderboards for each game mode here, the actual character who has the overall 100 Man Smash WR is Corrin, while Mewtwo has held it for a significant amount of time as well (which was actually my WR). So Greninja, despite actually getting a fairly good time here, is unlikely to actually be the best choice. It does however seem that Greninja's best option for this mode actually is down taunt.

Pokemon Shuffle - L-Boost Mega Softlock Salted Neos 2023-07-17 | Found this a few months ago, but it turns out L Boost into certain Mega effects, such as the one Shiny Mega Gyarados has removes the damage boost on hit 2 and leads to a weird softlock if the hit would've killed but doesn't because of the lost damage.

Pokemon Shuffle (3DS): Deoxys Speed Forme (S Rank, DD + T+10) Salted Neos 2023-04-04 | Sorry for the laggy footage.This isn't gonna be the trend for the channel to have random uncommentated gameplay, but this particular S rank I've noticed gives people a lot of trouble and I think it'd be helpful to have this out there.Basically, instead of the usual burst strat, what you wanna do is go in with DD and T+10, have Hoopa-U on TC, and the other 3 Pokemon are basically just beatsticks (The strongest super effective mons you have, you will not be using their skills), although Mega Pinsir is nice to help with the pause a tap makes. You wanna activate TC then try to maintain the combo you get from getting rid of all the Deoxys for as long as you can. If TC isn't on the starting board, see if you can make it there with 1 or 2 moves, you have some wiggle room. This probably will take multiple attempts unfortunately, but its better then the burst strat most of the time.

Pokemon Shuffle : Unused Shiny Genesect Enemy Graphic Salted Neos 2022-12-13 | Reupload due to audio issues.I've been messing with modding this game in an attempt to bring back some lost events, I came to notice that EX51, Shiny Genesect doesn't seem to use its special enemy graphics, which is unusual since those graphics would've come from Battle Trozei. I dug through the enemy graphics to find it has one, which I think may not appear due to a coding oversight, though I haven't proven that yet. They were swapped out for regular Genesect's enemy graphic here. The interesting part is that they are indeed updated from Battle Trozei with the new lighting effects that Pokemon have in Pokemon Shuffle.
