The battle had been going on for over 10 hours, so some soldiers took some time out for R&R. Wardens were basically down to one town and defeat was inevitable.
By the end, about 30 players had gathered and a 'bar fight' breaks out, which ends the video. Wardens were defeated minutes later.
Props to Onahara-Senpai as the announcer and all who joined in.

Not like my usual videos, but thought I'd just throw this up anyway.
For my own amusement, I decided to load up some of EverQuest's MIDI files into my virtual organ software. Thinking it had some potential, I went through painstaking editing of the MIDI files so that they would actually play properly. (I didn't alter the actual music itself in any way).
In each MIDI file, there were sometimes up to 10 ore more different instruments playing at once, each on a different MIDI channel. Only MIDI channels 1-5 could be used by the organ software, to specify which keyboard or pedals would play the note. Any notes on the other channels would cause the organ software to go crazy, pulling stops in/out at random.
Therefore, I had to edit each MIDI file by finding the five most important parts of the music (as there are only 5 divisions of the organ to play on), assigning them a MIDI channel to where I wanted it to be played, then deleting the rest.
I then had to play around and experiment to find appropriate stops on the organ (or as close as possible) to the instrument specified in the MIDI file. Then hopefully fit all the parts together!
Some of the tracks are really similar to the originals, so the music can be appreciated in a new way, without the terribly dated MIDI sounds. Though admittedly, the organ is not for everyone.

I thought I'd film them for nerd pride. I count nearly 200 odd. (Still missing a couple from the video however).
P.S. Men In Black was a gift!! A gift I swear!!
Beating on some caimens until we get a full group and go to tackle the Orc highway.
Did I mention Sand Giants? They had some fun with our group too...
This is more like it....trash trains, crazy pulls, drama and more trains. That's what Unrest is all about!
This session reminded me of how punishing EverQuest is and how harsh it is for new players. Everything that could go wrong went wrong!
I had planned to camp the Sirens in Ocean of Tears. The boat takes friggin forever to get there. Once there, I went to the wrong camp, thinking the mobs were the same as the other island of Sirens. But these ones are higher level and can only be damaged by magic and magic weapons! So...I died, and de-levelled I might add. Back to Freeport, have to take the boat once more to recover my corpse.
But at night time those Siren spawns turn into higher level aggressive NPCs, so I have to wait until sunrise before I can collect my corpse. I then go killing some goblins to try and make back my lost level. But I've neglected to bring water with me, relying on forage. Forgetting that mana doesn't regenerate *at all* when thirsty, I'm unable to cast Gate to teleport myself back to my bind point.
I therefore try and catch the boat by being in it's path as it sails by, unsuccessfully (think I might need levitate). With that a failure, I try and swim to the zone line to East Freeport (I guess I remembered wrong that you can zone into Freeport by swimming!).
So eventually I manage to forage up some water, so I can then regain some mana and teleport back to Freeport.
Total session playtime: 2 hours
Total experience gained: 0
Result = Win
3 wall groups in Unrest, killing the courtyard trash. Things liven up a little when a decked out Monk twink join the group @ 2:48.
Nothing exciting, just killing orcs!
Nothing exciting, just killing orcs!
Nothing fancy, just killing Dervs.
