[CLASSIC LIVE] RANDOM Shiny Amoonguss in Blaze Black 2!
updated
I'm so happy to get this little purple bear! The colour palettes in Sword and Shield look much smoother compared to Gen 6 & 7, and as a result, lots of Shinies look so much nicer, Cubchoo being one of them! It's head is so much more purple now and it looks even cuter than before! :D

When I first played through Sword, I wanted to make sure that my first Shiny hunt through RE's in the game was in the Glimwood Tangle... It is by far my favourite non-city area of the game and I'm so happy to get a Shiny so early here! Admittedly, it wasn't my first choice for a Shiny, but it's not Phantump so I'm happy!

I'M SO HAPPY! I've become obsessed with Galarian Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime since I saw them and I can't believe Masuda has blessed me with such good luck for the first hunt! It has such an awesome Shiny despite being such dull colours... I'm just so excited to get more Shinies now!

Be prepared for a lot of duplicate Shinies though in the next couple compilations as I seem to keep going for rare Pokémon! Nevertheless, we have a fine selection today, some pretty sweet Shinies! I hope you enjoy!
What is Pokémon Reborn?
Reborn is a fan-made game by Amethyst in which all 802 Pokémon are catchable in one way or another and has a brand new story which breaks away from the general Pokémon stereotypes. It isn't edgy for the sake of being edgy but touches on more sensitive subjects that typical games steer clear of, such as mental health issues.
What is the deal with Shinies then?
All Pokémon have a 1/100 chance of being Shiny (presumably so you can experience their new colours for yourself without looking for an ice age!) and most of the Pokémon have a brand new Shiny to call their own. A few notable exceptions are Greninja, Ninetales and Unown, which remain the same as the main game.
What Generation is the game based on?
It's a mix of all Generations really, with aspects mainly drawn from Gen 3 for the overworld, but the physical/special split exists and the games use the Generation 7 level-up system for moves and evolutions.
Where can I play the game?!
Here is the link you need to download the game, you can use any mirror you like, they are simply different sites used to host the download. If you choose to play along, be sure to send any Shinies you find to me on Twitter or Discord and have fun! http://www.rebornevo.com/index.php?%2...

However, Absol is a top-notch Shiny and one I cannot be mad about, I mean who could really? It's a gorgeous Shiny and a fantastic Pokémon!
Let's see what Phase 4 brings in the future...

High catch combos give good IV's, so that's what I intended, but I got this beautiful Shiny super under odds! I'm so happy because I did intend to get this Shiny but I gave up on the idea of getting it after having such issues with other Shinies!

Never mind. Psyduck is life, it has an epic Shiny and it is of course the mascot of Team Dittobeak!
But hey, new game time! Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee are the newest games in the set, and here we are with our first Shiny! I did get a Shiny off screen, but this is my first one on screen and I'm glad I actually caught it!

Wedlocke Rules:
1. All Pokémon must be nicknamed.
2. Only the first Pokémon encountered in a route/area is allowed to be caught for use within the playthrough. If this Pokémon faints before it is caught, through accidental fainting or explosion/status, then no further attempts are allowed.
3. If a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and must be released or permanently boxed.
4. Pokémon caught after each other are to be paired up, and only they may fight together. IE, Pokémon 1 and 2 link up to create a pair. Pokémon 3 and 4 also link up to create a pair. If Pokémon 3 is out in battle, only Pokémon 4 is allowed to be used if switching is necessary. If Pokémon 3 dies, Pokémon 4 must avenge their death or face death themselves, with no possibility of switching. If Pokémon caught are sent straight to the PC, they will remain unpaired until they are paired.
Additional rules:
1. Dupes Clause - To increase diversity, once a Pokémon is caught, that Pokémon and any in it's evolutionary line will no longer be able to be caught in the playthrough. To avoid manipulation, if duplicate Pokémon are encountered 5 times in a route/area, the encounter is lost and no further Pokémon are eligible for capture.
2. Shiny Clause - If by some miracle I find a Shiny, I may catch it, but must release the Pokémon that was caught in that area if I do. If the Pokémon caught in that area has already died, it is a free encounter.

But seriously Cloyster is one of my favourite Pokémon and I really love both it's normal colours and that Shiny, the blue suits it so well, despite the sexual connotation...

It's a shame, had I not had a Shiny Charm on this game, this would've counted for ISHC, and if it had been a day prior, it would've counted for a gimmick too! Oh well, swings and roundabouts eh?!
Quagsire is just one of those Pokémon that you can't hate it. That beaming smile, not caring about any of it's surroundings. Frankly, I'm jealous LOL
A pretty sweet chain though, speedy and it shone fairly soon after hitting 40! Route 14 normally gives me a lot of trouble so I was happy!
