Free Discover Sailing Day at Lakeside Sailing Club, Pakenham Sail into Adventure iamkloklo 2024-04-20 | 🌊⛵ We had the most amazing time at the Free Discover Sailing Day hosted by Lakeside Sailing Club in Pakenham. It was an experience none of us will ever forget!As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by friendly club members who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and we couldn't wait to get out on the water.We went for a short sail with an experienced sailor. It was such a thrill to feel the wind in our hair as we glided across the lake. The views were absolutely stunning, and we even got to try our hand at steering the boat!Throughout the day, there were plenty of other activities to enjoy, including meeting and greeting other club members and learning more about the sport of sailing. We were so impressed by how welcoming and inclusive the club was, with accessible facilities for people of all abilities.Best of all, the Discover Sailing Day was completely free to attend, and all boats and safety equipment were provided by the club. Plus, thanks to Australian Sailing, insurance was also covered for the day.Overall, it was an incredible experience that we'll never forget. We left Lakeside Sailing Club feeling inspired and excited to come back and explore more of what this amazing sport has to offer.
