Orda (Ordinskaya) Cave system is a horizontal gypsum labyrinth within the body of the Kazakovskaya Mountain (Perm, Ural). The greatest part of the cave labyrinth is filled with very strong mineralized water and the total length of underwater galleries is about 5 km.
The project idea has originated from the long-term experience of photo and video filming in Russian cold caves. The goal of the project fundamentally includes a team of experienced and specifically trained cave divers taking new quality of shots in the underwater cave by using a great amount of powerful modern underwater light. ANDREY GORBUNOV Andrey Gorbunov is a speleo diver and a cave scuba instructor with a the long-term experience of photo and video filming in Russian cold caves. Also he is European and World Champion in finswimming and honored coach of Russian Federation in underwater sports field. Andrey has created and leaded Underwater Speleology Center ORDA CAVE in 2002. In 2015 he has originated Prometheus underwater photography and videography project intending to bring the beauty and greatness of Orda Cave to the wide audience of people who are not involved in cave diving and the speleo world.
ANNA ERMAN Anna Erman is a cave diver, recreational scuba instructor and underwater videographer. She has joined to the Prometheus underwater photography and videography project in 2016 as a video editor. Most of underwater cave videos are producing in a genre of route filming when the divers are moving along the gold line. It doesn't give a chance to see all giant spaces and greatness of the cave.
