September 10, 1974-Yankees vs. Red Sox (WMCA Radio) epaddon 2023-07-22 | -A lower quality recording of this game from Armed Forces Radio has been available before, but here from a pristine WMCA-New York recording (save for the very last pitch which was missing and was grafted in from the older recording) is the Yankees-Red Sox game of September 10, 1974 as called by Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer and Bill White. The game became memorable to Yankee fans because of what the newly acquired Alex Johnson did that night (and was arguably the high point of the Yankee season before they stumbled the rest of the way and lost out on the AL East title to the Orioles).
July 8, 2011-Mets vs. Giants (Bob Costas-Al Michaels) epaddon 2023-07-08 | -12 years ago tonight, MLB Network broadcast a Mets-Giants game in which Al Michaels, shut out of doing baseball since 1995 ever since ABC lost the baseball contract, would call a game with Bob Costas (who had started doing games for MLB Network to compensate for baseball being off NBC since 2000). For the benefit of Met and Giant fans, for whom the MLB Network telecast would be blacked out in their markets, Al and Bob did the 4th and 5th innings in the Mets TV booth and the 6th and 7th innings in the Giants TV booth. I have combined things from the three broadcasts to give us nine solid innings of Costas and Michaels together (this accounts for why the aspect ratio changes at times). This and a 2003 ESPN game as a guest broadcaster are the only two MLB games Michaels has done since 1995 and given how he was one of the finest baseball PBP announcers ever, that has been a tragedy for baseball fans.
September 9, 1974-Yankees vs. Red Sox (WMCA Radio) epaddon 2023-07-03 | -While the nation was reacting to Gerald Ford's pardon of Richard Nixon, the Yankees were in their first real September pennant race in a decade as they began a key two game series with the Red Sox at Fenway. 1964 World Series, Game 6 (Yankees-Cardinals) (WCBS Radio) epaddon 2023-06-24 | -The last Yankee World Series victory until Game 1 of the 1977 World Series as Jim Bouton's pitching and the bats of Joe Pepitone and Roger Maris help the Yankees even the 1964 World Series at three games apiece. Joe Garagiola and Phil Rizzuto call the game for NBC Radio as carried over the Yankee station, WCBS-New York.
October 1, 1983-Expos vs. Mets (Seavers Last Met Game) (WWCN Radio) epaddon 2023-06-16 | -Being a Yankee fan I don't put up as much Mets-centered items, but here is something Met fans will appreciate. This was Tom Seaver's last game as a Met, though he didn't know it at the time given the circumstances of how the Mets lost him in the off-season. It ends up being a very brief outing. What justifies making this available though is how on the same day, the Mets were honoring their minor league stars of 1983, and Dwight Gooden, who had spent the year in A ball is interviewed by Bob Murphy in the pre-game show, and later in the game, Lenny Dykstra, who had also been at A ball that year is interviewed in the booth. So in Seaver's last Met game we get introduced to two Met legends of their 86 team. This was also Darryl Strawberry's rookie season and he starts the game but then comes out after just one at bat.-This is from WWCN radio in Albany. The station had line trouble at times accounting for the poor reception that the announcer apologizes for but it does clear up. Bob Murphy's partner is Steve LaMar who did Mets games from 1982-1984 before he was fired and replaced by Gary Thorne (LaMar subsequently did Cleveland Indians games from 1985-1988). After the game, the station would simulcast CNN Headline News and I left in their sports report.
1964 World Series, Game 3 (Cardinals-Yankees) (WCBS Radio) epaddon 2023-06-01 | -And here is the last great moment of the Yankee dynasty that began in 1947 and ended in 1964 as Mickey Mantle sets a World Series record with a walk-off home run to beat the Cardinals in Game 3 of the World Series.-This game, while from NBC Radio was recorded from WCBS, the Yankees regular station. The rule then was that the national broadcast could air on both the NBC station and the local team station, so that's why in this era the same World Series broadcast could be heard on both WNBC (as was the case with the Game 2 recording) and WCBS. Curt Gowdy and Harry Caray, who did the TV games in St. Louis rotated to radio for the games in New York and so they are heard on this broadcast as Joe Garagiola and Phil Rizzuto were doing TV in New York (I suspect the powers that be didn't want to have Caray and Rizzuto sharing the same booth!).
1964 World Series, Game 2 (Yankees-Cardinals) (WNBC Radio) epaddon 2023-05-29 | -This is the earliest World Series broadcast in the lot of pristine New York recordings I've found on reel to reel tapes. Game 2 of the 1964 World Series saw the Yankees send rookie Mel Stottlemyre against Bob Gibson. Stottlemyre would pitch two more games in the Series and would be the last active member of the 64 pennant winning team until his release in the spring of 1975 just one year before the Yankees would return to the Series.-Joe Garagiola and Phil Rizzuto call the game on NBC Radio. Mel Allen had been fired by the Yankees before the end of the season and they did not want him to work the Series so Rizzuto was named as the Yankee rep (coincidentally, Garagiola would replace Allen in the Yankee booth the next season). In the Series itself there was an unusual rotation arrangement where Garagiola and Rizzuto did the games on radio in St. Louis and on TV in New York while Harry Caray and Curt Gowdy were on TV in St. Louis and radio in New York. This recording is from WNBC and we briefly hear the end of a pregame show done by Bill Mazer who had a sports talk show on WNBC at the time. But these NBC radio broadcasts were also simulcast on the Yankee flagship station WCBS as well.
Disney World - Mr. Toads Wild Ride (1994) epaddon 2023-05-29 | -This is a video recording of the extinct Disney World attraction, "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" recorded around 1994 and originally part of a DVD release put out by the now defunct "Extinct Attractions Club" in the mid-2000s. "Mr. Toad" was a beloved dark ride in Fantasyland considered superior to the Disneyland version because of its two-track option that gave you two different ride experiences. Unfortunately the ride was closed by WDW in 1998 to make room for the current Winnie The Pooh ride.
September 17, 1977-Red Sox vs. Orioles (NBC-Clip) epaddon 2023-05-27 | This is lifted from a recent upload of this hour plus of raw news footage at this link. youtube.com/watch?v=kwNkknZc6LE Most of the 2nd inning between the Red Sox and Orioles who are trying to chase the Yankees in the final weeks of the 77 AL East race. Joe Garagiola and Tony Kubek announce and we hear updates on the Yankees-Tigers game (though no footage). Regular season telecasts prior to the early 80s are very hard to come by! At this point Baltimore leads 2-0 in a game they would win 11-2.
1977 ALCS, Game 2 (Royals-Yankees) (WMCA Radio) epaddon 2023-05-14 | -Leftover bit of business from the 77 ALCS. The Yankees evened up the series 1-1 thanks to Ron Guidry's pitching. This game featured Hal McRae taking out Willie Randolph to break up a double play which also led to a KC run scoring, and helped fuel the growing animosity between the two teams. Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer and Bill White with the call. Mel Allen and John Sterling co-host the pregame and postgame. The postgame was previously uploaded from a lesser quality transfer and is included again with the full game broadcast.
1996 IRL Disney World 200 (Radio Broadcast) epaddon 2023-05-14 | -Continuing my uploads of radio broadcasts from the 1996-97 period of the Indy Racing League, this is the first IRL race from January 1996 at Walt Disney World Speedway in Florida (a temporary oval track that was demolished in the 2000s). The IRL debuted using year old CART equipment (transitioning to non-turbo charged engines in 1997) and also marked the formal beginning of the "split" in Indy Car racing with CART that lasted a decade. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway radio network provided full coverage of all their races with Bob Jenkins, then the radio voice of the 500 anchoring this broadcast. This race marked the Indy car debut of Tony Stewart.
May 1, 1977-Mariners vs. Yankees (WPIX Clips) epaddon 2023-05-14 | -WPIX clips of the Yankees and Mariners from May 1, 1977. Rare look at Ken Holtzman pitching for the Yankees, as he was little used for most of the season. Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer and Bill White on the PBP.
Driving Miss Daisy (Bickford Theater, 1996) epaddon 2023-05-13 | -Bickford Theater of Morristown, NJ's 1996 production of Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize winning play of the friendship between an elderly southern Jewish woman and her African-American chauffeur, set in 1950s Atlanta. The three character play first performed on Broadway in 1987 was expanded into an Academy Award winning movie in 1989 starring Jessica Tandy, Morgan Freeman and Dan Aykroyd. Video professionally shot for Bickford Theater producer Walker Joyce.
1972-ABC Password Fragment (Paul Lynde) epaddon 2023-05-13 | -Sixty second fragment of a lost ABC Password from 1972 with Paul Lynde and Elizabeth Montgomery. This is all there is and there's nothing more to be found. The 1971-75 run of Password was sadly erased and only a handful of episodes are known to exist.
1981 ALDS, Game 5 (Brewers-Yankees) (WPIX Audio; Partial Restored) epaddon 2023-05-05 | And here is as close as I can come to a restoration of the WPIX telecast of Game 5 of the 81 ALDS merging it to the ABC video. Unfortunately the WPIX audio reel I have is not complete so I am simply presenting the merge for those portions I did have and since the end of the game was not available I compensate for that with a "This Week In Baseball" recap of the game at the end. I do this as the best way of sharing what there is of the TV calls of Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer and Bill White. Key Yankee scoring in the 4th inning is intact though not their final scoring.
1981 ALDS, Game 5 (Brewers-Yankees) (ABC) epaddon 2023-05-05 | -Improved quality ABC telecast of the decisive Game 5 of the 81 ALDS between the Yankees and Brewers. There are a couple snips in the video in the 9th inning when play is stopped due to a fan tossing something at an umpire but I found the audio and was able to restore that so this version is complete as far as broadcast content goes.
1991-WFAN. Three Joe From Saddle River Calls (Joe Benigno) epaddon 2023-05-04 | -Before Joe Benigno became a WFAN host in 1995, he was "Joe From Saddle River" frequently calling the station. Here are three calls of his to Howie Rose on the Mets Extra postgame show during the 1991 season, which wasn't a good one for Met fans. On May 27, Joe urges the team to resign Frank Viola (they didn't and were wise not to). On August 31, he closes by pleading with the Mets to sign Bobby Bonilla (they did but came to regret it) and on October 1 as the season draws to an end, Joe wants either Dallas Green or Jeff Torborg hired as the next Mets manager (Torborg was hired and flopped; Green replaced him and did only slightly better).
July 24, 1983-The Pine Tar Game (WABC Radio-Improved Version) epaddon 2023-05-02 | -The only version of the WABC radio broadcast of this infamous game that has been around is a mostly rough quality version sold by Danrick Enterprises in the 80s and 90s. While most of this comes from that source, I did find pristine audio of the 4th and 5th innings in my recent stash of reel tapes, and also from a separate reel from WROW Radio (Albany) the 9th inning and *complete* postgame show in better quality. The postgame has a lengthy interview with Umpire Joe Brinkman who explains the reason for the ruling that at the time seemed to give the Yankees an unexpected victory from the jaws of defeat. Unfortunately, AL President Lee MacPhail, who had a history of bad relations with George Steinbrenner, reversed the umps several days later and in the process screwed up the Yankee momentum (this win had put them close to tie for first) that they never recovered from. I have not included the makeup portion from several weeks later because (1) you'll find it elsewhere on YT from another person's upload and (2) I prefer to think of this as a Yankee victory!-Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer, Bill White and John Gordon with the call. After the postgame signoff I included an ABC Radio (Direction Network) sports report on the game that aired on WROW, anchored by Don Chevrier, who did Blue Jays telecasts for CTV.
July 4, 1983-Dave Righetti No-Hitter (WABC Radio-Most Complete Version) epaddon 2023-05-02 | -The WABC radio broadcast of Dave Righetti's 1983 no-hitter has been uploaded before on YT (in fact most video uploads use the radio feed) but this is the most complete version of the actual radio broadcast derived from multiple source recordings. This includes the introduction and early pregame comments, all commercials and for the first time the COMPLETE postgame show with the full radio interview of Righetti and the final wrapup which has never been available before. Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer, Bill White and John Gordon with the call.
1981 ALDS, Game 5 (Brewers-Yankees) (WABC Radio) epaddon 2023-04-25 | -Not available for more than 40 years and just rediscovered early this year on a reel to reel tape I won on e-bay. This is the complete WABC Radio broadcast of Game 5 of the 1981 AL East Playoffs between the Yankees and Brewers (the extra playoff round a result of the 1981 players strike creating a split season). Reggie Jackson has his last great moment as a Yankee with a massive homer to turn the momentum of the game. Rick Cerone, who had cursed George Steinbrenner out the previous day after a tough loss in Game 4 also contributes. Full pregame and postgame included. Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer, Bill White and Fran Healy with the call. The last postseason clinching victory at home for the Yankees until Game 6 of the 1996 World Series.
September 23, 1981-Indians vs. Yankees (WABC Radio) (Reggie vs. John Denny!) epaddon 2023-04-21 | NOTE-The 2nd inning which featured an earlier brushback pitch by Denny against Reggie which emptied the benches is missing from this recording (along with the 5th and 6th innings), but the key 4th inning at bat of Reggie taking Denny deep and then charging the mound is intact. I have synched the telecast video to this portion (I had to take down my first attempt to post when processing ruined the synch). Fascinating postgame interview of Reggie by Fran Healy is also included. Reggie's second to last great moment as a Yankee (his last great moment in the 1981 ALDS will be posted soon).
1976 ALCS, Game 5 (Royals-Yankees) (WMCA Radio) epaddon 2023-04-13 | -And here is the memorable Game 5 of the 1976 ALCS as the Yankees ended their 12 year pennant drought thanks to Chris Chambliss's walk-off HR off Mark Littell. Previous uploads of this radio broadcast come from a lower quality Schenectady-NY recording. Here is the pristine WMCA recording with complete pregame and postgame hosted on-site by Mel Allen and John Sterling (I previously uploaded the postgame only several years ago and have kept it in this upload). In the pregame, they interview Ernie Harwell who called the game with Ned Martin on CBS Radio and Harwell amusingly keeps calling Sterling "Jack", confusing him with a former WCBS Radio personality of the early 60s, Jack Sterling. -Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer and Bill White with the PBP of the game. 1985 NBC Miniseries, A.D.-Pt. 1 of 5 epaddon 2023-04-12 | -A detour from my usual uploads. In 1985, one of the first things I recorded on my new VCR was the NBC miniseries "A.D." a pseudo-sequel to "Jesus Of Nazareth" covering the first decades of Christianity and the tumult of the Roman Empire and featuring an all-star cast including James Mason (his final role), Richard Kiley, John Houseman, Susan Sarandon, Ava Gardner and many more. It aired over five nights, running nine hours (minus commercials) and never aired again on television. The only American home video release was an edited version on VHS that eliminated three hours of content since it was marketed for Christian bookstores only. Only in Germany has the complete miniseries been released. -I am uploading my original 1985 NBC recording. I removed the commercials when I transferred this to DVD originally but I left in all the NBC intros and bumpers so this will be a new experience for even those who have managed to see the "reconstructed" original version that is elsewhere on YT. I present it as a piece of television history and also something that is appropriate to the post-Easter season. -Original airdate, March 31, 1985. WNBC-New York.
1976 ALCS, Game 4 (Royals-Yankees) (WMCA Radio) epaddon 2023-04-05 | WMCA Radio broadcast of Game 4 of the 1976 ALCS between the Royals and Yankees. Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer and Bill White with the call. John Sterling and Mel Allen co-host the pregame while Mel hosts the postgame (he is supposed to take calls but gets so carried away recapping the game for a half hour that he never has time to take one call!). Despite two homers by Graig Nettles, the Royals tie the series at two games apiece setting the stage for the dramatic Game 5 the next night and the heroics of Chris Chambliss.
October 4, 1981-Joe Torre Fired as Mets Manager (WOR-TV Audio) epaddon 2023-03-24 | I found this on Soundcloud. It's the final two innings and complete Kiner's Korner audio of the last game of the 1981 Mets season against Montreal, but the reason it's significant is that during this the announcement of Joe Torre being fired as Mets manager is made and the entire Kiner's Korner program is an interview with Mets VP's Al Harazin and Lou Gorman about the change. This was the last Mets telecast of Bob Murphy who was moved to radio only in 1982 and Kiner's Korner is still using the old "Flag of Victory" theme song that was replaced either in 82 or 83. Doing color with Bob Murphy is Art Shamsky who was fired from the broadcast crew (along with Steve Albert) after the 81 season.

April 14, 1974-Yankees vs. Indians (WMCA-Partial) epaddon 2023-03-08 | -Although this recording of Game 1 of the doubleheader between the Yankees and Indians that day is incomplete it offers a window into the station it was on then, WMCA which was in a talk format. The recording begins during a 6th inning rain delay and the station is airing as filler, the talk show of one of their hosts of the time Richard Hayes, a 1950s singer and 1960s game show host (and frequent regular on Arthur Godfrey's show). Hayes show runs the first 14 minutes and we hear conversation about Watergate and the Yankees, mixing politics and sports before they go back to resume the game in Cleveland. It's worth noting that less than two weeks after this game, the Yankees and Indians would make a blockbuster trade in which the Yankees received Chris Chambliss and Dick Tidrow in return for Steve Kline, Fritz Peterson, Fred Beene and Tom Buskey.
1996 IRL Las Vegas 500K (Radio Broadcast-Full Race) epaddon 2023-03-08 | -This is the complete radio broadcast of the 1996 Indy Racing League 500K race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This race, from the first year of the IRL following the split from CART, was the last to feature turbo-charged engines using year-old CART equipment. The race was telecast on ABC, but owing to some lengthy caution periods, ABC was unable to air the entire race in the Eastern and Central time zones. The west coast telecast featuring the finish of the race has not surfaced, but here is the full radio broadcast from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Network anchored by Bob Jenkins, then the Voice of the Indy 500 on radio.

Olympus On My Mind (Bickford Theater, 1997) epaddon 2023-03-02 | Another professionally shot Bickford Theater of Morristown, NJ production from the 1995-2000 tenure of producer Walker Joyce. "Olympus On My Mind" was originally a 1986 Off-Broadway musical based on the Greek play Amphitryon (in which Zeus has an affair with a mortal woman by assuming the form of her absent husband, a general). It is a "play within a play" comedy in the tradition of "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" in that we get a framing device that this is a present-day show backed by a fictitious New York furrier who has put his talentless mistress in the chorus of the show (who makes frequent asides to the audience).
1975-Celebrity Sweepstakes (Promo) epaddon 2023-03-02 | A promo for a nighttime episode of the game show "Celebrity Sweepstakes" hosted by Jim McKrell. The show ran on NBC's daytime schedule from 1974 to 1976 and had a separate weekly syndicated run from 1975 to 1977. Only several episodes including the pilot circulate among collectors
April 5, 1983-Phillies vs Mets (WOR; Seaver Returns, McCarvers First) epaddon 2023-02-17 | -Because of Tim McCarver's passing, I'm uploading this better quality version of his first regular season Mets broadcast from Opening Day 1983, which was also Tom Seaver's return to the team (for just that one season as it turned out). Lower quality versions have been on YT before but this is more complete and I've also restored the near complete Kiner's Korner postgame show using this and one other source. It would be the first game in a 16 year stint in the Mets television booth for McCarver, during which time he was hired by ABC and saw his national profile boosted and which in turn led to his stints on CBS and FOX.
July 17, 1974-World Football League (Birmingham vs. New York) (WMCA Radio) epaddon 2023-02-11 | -The first attempt to challenge the NFL after the AFL merger wasn't the USFL but the World Football League (WFL) in 1974. It proved to be a financial flop, folding in it's second season. One of the biggest WFL failures was its attempt to establish themselves in New York. The New York Stars, unable to find a suitable venue to play football were forced to play in run-down Downing Stadium. The team ended up moving to Charlotte during the middle of the season.-Here is the New York Stars' first home game from 1974 (second week of the season) as aired on WMCA Radio and called by future Yankees voice John Sterling (then hosting a talk show at the station) and former Jets great Matt Snell. Sterling recalled that the facilities at Downing Stadium were so primitive and the broadcast hookup to the station so poor that he and Snell had to take turns handing the phone to the station to talk while they were watching the game seated on boxes. That accounts for the muffled quality of the broadcast hookup as the commercials and station reads are pristine.-This is the only Stars home broadcast known to exist.
Super Bowl XXI-Broncos vs. Giants (WNEW Radio) epaddon 2023-02-11 | -With the Super Bowl coming up it's time for a couple football broadcasts. First, here is the WNEW broadcast of the Giants first Super Bowl win in January 1987 and their first championship since the 1956 season. Phil Simms completed 22 of 25 passes and earned game MVP honors. Jim Gordon and Dick Lynch with the call.
April 22, 2001-Red Sox vs. Yankees (WNYW-TV) (End Of Game) epaddon 2023-02-09 | -I only have the tenth inning of this Red Sox-Yankees clash from April 22, 2001 (Fox 5 broadcast with Bobby Murcer and Tim McCarver, the last of the three years they worked together on free-TV Yankee broadcasts) but what a tenth inning it is!
1981-Phil Rizzutos On-Air Gaffe! epaddon 2023-02-04 | -From 1978 to 1981 when Fran Healy was in the Yankee radio booth, he and Phil Rizzuto had moments of hilarity together that exceeded even those Scooter had with Bill White. None more so than one afternoon in Boston in September 1981 when Scooter committed this unintentional gaffe that according to Steve Jacobson of Newsday caused Healy, wearing a back brace at the time to laugh so hard until it hurt (and you can hear him losing it during the 30 seconds of silence following Scooter's gaffe despite silencing his mic).-The full broadcast of this game can be purchased from the Miley Collection through Baseball Direct on-line (September 19, 1981).

February 1, 2003-Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster (CBS Radio) epaddon 2023-02-02 | -20 years ago today, the Space Shuttle Columbia broke up during re-entry killing the seven astronauts aboard. The cause was a hole in the wing caused when a piece of foam fell off the external tank and struck the wing during the launch two weeks earlier. It marked the second time we lost a shuttle orbiter, with Challenger being the first in 1986. -On that day I recorded six hours of CBS Radio coverage of the tragedy from station WBBM in Chicago where I lived at the time. This begins at 9:36 AM Central time about an hour and a half after the shuttle broke-up and when everyone realized something had gone wrong. You'll notice in the coverage a lot of concern about terrorism as this was a year and a half after 9/11 and the Iraq War would begin the following month.

September 30, 2007-Marlins vs. Mets (SNY-Condensed) epaddon 2023-01-28 | -So that Met fan channels don't have to get asked about this game, I'm uploading the one hour condensed overnight replay of the 2007 season finale, in which the Mets completed their shocking September swoon by giving up seven runs to the Marlins in the 1st inning and missing the playoffs entirely. Arguably the most significant regular season collapse since the 1964 Phillies and a poor exit for Tom Glavine's career as a Met. No one has the full game broadcast as far as I can tell, so I'm offering this for those who want it (Met fans will get their compensation with the next upload!) Includes some wrap-up features from afterwards.
September 23, 1966-Password (Lucille Ball-Gary Morton) (Lost Daytime Week) epaddon 2023-01-25 | -In the final episode of the "Lucy and Friends" week Lucy and Gary play with Carole Cook (who just passed away at age 99) and her husband Tom Troupe. This is the final "lost" Password episode I have. Hopefully one day we will see more emerge since the following week that Allen plugs with Danny Kaye and June Lockhart is also unfortunately a "lost" week.
October 6, 1991-Indians vs. Yankees (MSG-End) epaddon 2023-01-25 | -This was originally an "Exile 53" upload giving us the Bottom 8th to signoff of the final game of the 1991 Yankee season and the end of the Stump Merrill era. In the off-season Buck Showalter would be hired as manager and the slow process of Yankee turnaround would finally move to a new level. At this stage, only Jim Leyritz and Bernie Williams are there to provide any hints to the better years that lie ahead!
July 28, 1980-Yankees vs. Twins (WINS Radio) epaddon 2023-01-20 | Fresh off a new batch of reel transfers! Here's a game from the Yankees 103 win AL East championship season that offers some insight into what a great year Rick Cerone had as the Yankee catcher being forced to follow Thurman Munson, and why Cerone remained a Yankee favorite for years afterwards even though he never had a year as good as 1980 again. At the start of the recording there's a brief WINS report mentioning the sale of Ed Figueroa to Texas and after the game a couple minutes on news events related to the death of the Shah of Iran. Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer, Bill White and Fran Healy with the call on 1010-WINS (the last year they carried Yankee games).

Here, they look back on the 1989 San Francisco Earthquake that struck just a half hour before Game 3 of the World Series between the A's and Giants was to begin.

I do not have the Wednesday show. On the Thursday show their partners are Richard Crenna (who had just finished filming "The Sand Pebbles"), Mrs. Milton Berle, Luci Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr.
Mornings At Seven (Bickford Theater, 1998) epaddon 2023-01-20 | Another Bickford Theater upload from the collection of their former producer, Walker Joyce. "Morning's At Seven" is a play by Paul Osborn. Its plot focuses on four aging sisters living in a small Midwestern town in 1928, and it deals with ramifications within the family when two of them begin to question their lives and decide to make some changes before it’s too late. The play was first performed on Broadway in 1939 and was not a success but was then successfully revived in 1980 and again in 2002. It has become a favorite of regional theaters since then. Bickford's production received praise from the Daily Record newspaper.
