Mr. M 2025-06-04 | Mr. "Ant" Tenna is very similar in his portrayal to TV Dinnah from Little King's Story, as well as his "deadly game show" gameplay. Some TV screens towards the end of the chapter depict Tenna’s lips and an infinite zooming TV set, which seem to pay homage to the character more directly.Little King's Story (2009) was directed by Yoshiro Kimura, a friend of Toby Fox's. Kimura playtested Undertale before release because Toby Fox expressed his love for a previous work of his, Moon (1997), for being a pacifistic RPG. Kimura himself is referenced in Undertale if you phone Onion-San in Papyrus's room.

You could select a challenge where you had to defeat a set number of infinitely spawning enemies and aim for a quick time, which you could share with other New Little King's Story players for bragging rights. Whatever Royal Guard you have on your person, waiting for you outside, is the team you take in. This is the first challenge, where you must defeat 50 of the different types of Onii; Further challenges would be added via the internet. However, all online services ended in 2017.
