His unique personality and acute memory even from a very young age makes him a captivating storyteller. This is the story of his life in Russia starting when he lived with his parents, to when he and his sister were put in a state run orphanage for 5 years, and finally his conversion and the process of he and his sister being adopted by a Spanish family. There is so much more to his story both during these years and after his adoption, but we were only able to tell one part of it. He is currently writing a book which he hopes to publish in the next year or two which goes into much more depth.Dimitri is also the founder of Cathopic.com, a Catholic apostolate of high quality photos that can be used for evangelization. The Iron Lung and Mother Mary One Billion Stories 2017-08-23 | It was 1949, in Denver Colorado, during the Polio epidemic when Mary Jane was stricken with bulbar polio, at that time a deadly disease. She was placed in a large machine called an "iron lung" that helped her breath and stay alive during her younger years. Despite the doctors best efforts, the iron lung was shut off on August the 15th, and she was pronounced dead. That morning, Mary Jane's parents attended Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption, during which, they placed a dozen white roses at the altar of the Blessed Mother. Upon returning to the hospital and hearing the news of Mary Jane's death, Mary's mother Cleva, replied, "No, she isn't." Cleva bent down over Mary Jane, kissed her on the forehead, and said, "Mary, open your pretty blue eyes, I haven't seen them yet this morning." During this time, Mary Jane was encountering our Lord and His Blessed Mother. She humbly offered herself to them and committed to pray the rosary everyday of her life in thanksgiving for the many gifts God had given her. A commitment she has upheld since that very day.Mary Jane heard the words of her mother Cleva, and opened her eyes. Years later, she met "the most perfect partner", and together they have cherished the gift of their Catholic faith by praying the rosary together everyday.

Domie De Guzman’s journey of faith began when his parents dedicated him to God on the altar table just after being baptized as a baby. As a young man, Domie became a student of AB Journalism, but became sick during his studies, which made him stop and think whether he was following God’s plan for his life. Through his own discernment, he was eventually led to the Society of Saint Paul, whose Founder is Blessed James Alberione. Not yet convinced that he was on the right path, he had a special challenge which he gave to God.He narrates his journey in parallel with that of Blessed James Alberione, who did not immediately find his vocation to the Media Apostolate early in life. He shares the Blessed’s maxim, “when the Lord calls you to a certain mission, he would empower you.” Blessed Ablerione said through his work in media, that “The World is the Parish” when it came to the Ministry of a media Apostolate and Evangelization. Fr. Domie further explains that media is no longer technology, but a culture, where the bonding of Faith happens with communications, which forms individuals into communities of Faith.

Uniting media apostolates for Christ on the “Digital Continent” One Billion Stories 2017-06-01 | How do Millennials live out their faith online? There are many ways of doing this, and one specific example is Dani, a Law and Economics student studying in Madrid, Spain. His faith journey really started in 2011 when he walked the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage following in the footsteps of St. James, the patron saint of Spain, that goes through northern Spain and ends in Santiago de Compostela. It was during this pilgrimage that Dani began the habit of praying the rosary every day. In 2015, he began collaborating with a new apostolate called Given Faith, an initiative started by a few friends of his with the mission of doing something for others and changing the world.A year later in 2016, Dani and one of his friends were asked to lead a group of 90 pilgrims from his parish in Madrid to World Youth Day in Krakow. They traveled by bus from Madrid all the way to Krakow, Poland, and back passing through Lourdes on the way. During WYD, he and a few of his friends from Given Faith filmed short videos with their iPhones and posted them on social media in which they detailed their experiences each day. After having seen these videos, the missionaries at Jóvenes Católicos, another apostolate founded in Spain in 2011 with the mission of evangelizing on the social networks, asked Dani and his friends at Given Faith if they would like to join their two apostolates into one single mission for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. They agreed, and since then Dani has been contributing to Jóvenes Católicos, a website with a large following of young people. He explains how important it is to do this type of missionary work, about the great responsibility it is to write articles for a website with such a large following, and how he strives to live his faith authentically both online and in real life.————–¿Cómo vivir la fe en el internet? Hay muchas maneras de hacerlo, y un ejemplo concreto es Dani, un universitario que estudia derecho y economía en Madrid, España. Considering the difficult circumstances, we had to wait a few more years before we could finally film her story. The suffering that Ursula and her family have experienced over the last few years is more than many families experience in an entire lifetime. What makes Ursula’s story so special though, is how despite her suffering and pain, she remains faithful. And the hardships and suffering have actually deepened her faith.
